1. I'm guessing you never took a class in a language with Latin roots? I actually understood the majority of it.

2. Open the text file.

3. Don't worry about the sound you can fix it later if it's to low just by increasing the volume in an editor.

4. Way too many references to what's on screen. You need to talk about other things, like when you went off on where are Pokemon were from that was good imo.

5. Red/Blue/Green/Yellow - Cinnabar Island Mansion, there's a journal that says they found Mew in South America ;).

6. You distracted me from doing my research on obesity for a presentation, grr, but all in all it was good start imo.

your very first video was very good!
Nothing too loud or static or whatever.
And you didn't even sound nervous! ( I would've been nervous as heck)

LightSlei: Thanks a lot for your help! I'll plan on doing all of those things next time. Except hopefully the distracting you from your obesity presintation part.

Thingy: I plan on putting one up every day. I don't want to overload anyone by putting up too many at once. I'm also glad you liked it! I do get kind of nervous when I'm recording, but then I just remind myself that the whole point is to have fun :)

Don't worry about it, I just figured out the easiest way to fluff the entire presentation. Once a day can get tiresome depending on what you do, I would say don't plan one per day but go at the pace you feel is right for you, I started trying to do a couple a day but now I upload a handful that are sporadic, but usually it depends on the game. Keep in mind if it becomes too much to do daily you are allowed to modify your schedule for it to fit to you.

Once a day seems to work so far. Of course I can't find a job and classes are still over a week away. When those start I might have to change the timetable, but for now this works. I took your advice and I think part 2 might have turned out better. I think I still have a ways to go, but I'll just keep on trying to improve as time goes on.

Part 3 went a lot better. I think I'm going to start recording at night, because it seems a lot more fun and hopefully more fun to watch. It also allows me to upload my video while I sleep, which will improve video quality as well. Because my internet is so slow here it takes about 8 hours to upload a 10 minute video in full quality. But if I'm sleeping during those 8 hours it doesn't matter! :)

Wow, I'm glad you would watch mine! Unfortunately I just spent 2 hours tonight trying to get today's recorded and for some reason the video keeps getting corrupted. :/ But I guarantee that a video will be recorded tomorrow one way or another.

I've had so much trouble uploading part 8b that is can officially be labeled ridiculous. I have to restart uploading again right now, so it will be up half a day from the time of this post (probably). Hopefully I can get a job and higher speed internet to completely remove this problem. *sigh* Oh well, I still remain optimistic.

Hey guys, I now have a big question for you. What do you think I should do next? I just finished the game (the video should be done uploading tonight) and now I don't know what to do next. Also, what do you think of how I'm doing? Things I need to do better, less, or more? Part 18 is up and it might be the most fun I've had LPing and editing so far. Thanks for all your comments and criticisms over this LP, it has made me better I believe.

But anyway, I'm done with my first LP, so what would you like to watch next? I have Super Mario Broken Anomaly, SMW2+3 The Essence Star, and Super Mario Bros 3X but I don't know if those have been overdone or not or if you would even want to watch those. Any other suggestions would be cool too.

I also think I might try having a non-mario hack going on at the same time too. I was thinking of Castlevania: Circle of the Moon. I've never played a Castlevania game so I thought that might be an interesting LP. Eventually I might do a Star Fox 64 LP and other 64 games if I get the setup working.

So basically if you have any feedback on any of these topics, I'd like to hear it. Thanks.

Uh my feedback is that you need to sometimes edit your videos down a bit more, for instance in today's video there was ALOT of jumping on them weird purple tower things, it kinda dragged on imo, although I have a shorter attention span than most so you can disregard that comment if you want, on the most part I would say the editing is ok though.
also you're the only LPer I'm watching other raocow, I find most LP's bore me, so uh I guess your doing a better job than like 99% of the LP's out there imo.

also I have the feeling that a 3D game will lead you with not much to talk about, but I guess it may work with Starfox as it's constantly moving.
I dunno, you will never know unless you try it, I personally wanna see more 2D games tho.

p.s. oh and maybe you should use another emulator so we don't see the logo every time you reload, although honestly it's not that bad, though it would be if you reloaded like every 10 seconds or something.
