Let's play let's plays?

Strange.
Well, that's the first thing I thought of. Someone goes like "No, your playing sucked" :D and puts in a "correction". (I remember more than once in the old videos, raocow apologizing he couldn't hear viewers yelling the answers at him through time and space. :D )
But now that I read more, it sounds like maybe youtube wants to host FMV games?

Seems kind of absurd to me. It's seems like it is just going to be 'Choose Your Own Adventure' in Youtube video form...

So, you click here, you click there, you wait for an advertisement to finish (because you know that there'll be advertisements at some point...), if you want to go in the door, click here, get RickRoll'd :p, click back, and then run in to one of the many 'video won't play' errors on YouTube now, so now you have to wait about an hour and continue.
Then again, I could just be seeing all of the bad stuff.

Thanks, guys! :D :(

I'm not sure there's a point to see really. The article mentions 'possibilities' which are, in fact, actualities, and have been for ages. Google filed patent a few months ago and it was just published this month, but people have been using the Youtube annotations like that for even longer. 'Twas the summer of ought eight that docfuture gave us WARNING: BRAS Plumbers Don't Wear Ties (that was the first I became aware of it anyway). I agree with Iceplug games like this dropped out of popularity for a reason, but i guess Google needs to hold as many cards as possible.
