I thought this game looked familiar when I saw that dude, and now I know why. My brother gave me this PSP game called Hammerin' Hero. I'm not sure if it's a remake or a sequel to the one you're playing, but I can see the similarities. Maybe I'll give mine a shot since the game you're playing looks like fun.

By the way, the "three 3's"-pattern the woman (second boss) uses in dialogue? My shoddy Japanese skills allow me to tell you that's "Hu hu hu" - crazy evil laugh in Japanese? I guuuueess?
