Ah man went to make an account here only to find out that the account I made way back in 2009 before I left for college was somehow still active. Since it's been quite a long while I figured I'd reintroduce myself.

Hi everyone. The name's Darkstorm091. Actually, it isn't really that anmore as I don't like that name too much. In general I prefer to go by Azaliate these days, but since this account was made A Long Time Ago^[tm] I'm kind of stuck using my old name here.

I've been following the cow of rao for quite a long time kind of on and off, depending on if he is LPing anything interesting at the time. I think the first LP of his I saw was... I don't even remember. Probably Super Metroid Legacy. Yeah, that sounds about right.

I'm 24 years old and currently in the military, stationed in Virginia atm. I enjoy video games and creative writing, and I'm pretty interested in getting started on doing LPs so I can share some of my favorite games and insights with other people. My favorite type of video games are JRPGs and Rhythm Games, and I extremely dislike FPSes since they have almost no storytelling. Lastly, my top 5 video games in no order are Trails in the Sky (can't wait for SC~), Chrono Trigger, Tales of Xillia, Persona 3, and Virtue's Last Reward. I also watch the occasional anime and just recently started reading JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (currently at part 3).

I joined here because I've heard that you're a super-great bunch of people, and also because I'd really like to start getting into making SMBX levels of my own. It's something I've been considering for a long time, but have just never got around to, so I figured I'd give it a shot now.

There was a period in my life, two months or so, of me doing nothing but watching raocow's ASMT letsplay. In separate appartment, almost alone, without internet, only ASMT over and over again. Good times.

I return to raocow's channel from time to time, and watch some of it's letsplays in two days or so. It's sort of a default channel for me: if you don't know what to watch - watch raocow.

Well, that's it, I guess. If you know something about gamedev, programming, making music, drawing, or just bored - send me a pm, I'll suck you dry.

I've been watching raocow for a couple years (maybe 3?) and yet I never bothered to create an account for the talkhaus. Well, since I'm in college now, where I have arguably less free time, I might as well check out the community and try my hand at making SMBX or SMW levels.

Also, while it's not a strict rule you might wanna tone down the size of your sig juuuust a bit. Having you sig larger than you average post size isn't really encouraged haha. Spoiler tags are helpful tools.

Hoi, I'm that guy who asked the question about how to approach joining the Talkhaus forum community on Patreon and well... here it is!
I like drawing and writing, and I'm the co-author of a comic somewhere in the interweb. I'm not the best at platformers, but I've always loved all the mario games. Seems like a good enough size for an intro. Look forward to chatting on interesting threads!

My name is Daniel and I've been sort of a long time watcher of raocow, though its my first time posting in the talkhaus.
Well, technically 2nd time but that was YEARS ago and I lost that account so whoops. Also explains why the username is the 2nd one, I guess. OTL

Anyway, I've never been much of a forum guy, but watching what this community can do sort of made me want to try it out and be part of this. Trying to get out of this shell or hole of shyness I've dug myself into. OTL

I like the video games, LPs, and I'm learning how to art and I think that's all I could say for now. OTL

Anyway, I hope this works out well and I'll do my best! (at whatever I'm supposed to do I guess. OTL)
