If you have physical copies of SaGa Frontier and the PSX version of Final Fantasy VII, you can revive Aeris with a disc-swapping glitch. No cheats.

A Japanese guy found this by accident and pure luck.


This is how it works:

1. You must do it before the date in Gold Saucer.
2. Get on a chocobo.
3. Remove CD1, and replace it with SaGa Frontier.
4. You can now walk all over the world, walk to the Icicle area.
5. remove the SaGa Frontier disc and put in CD1 of FF7 again.
6. get off you chocobo.
7. get in a battle.
8. world returns normally again.
9. save.
10. remove Aerith from your party.
11.finnish CD1.
12. Aerith keep existing in CD2 to the end.

It works because you skip the Ancient Temple, and Aerith never leaves the party, therefor she keep exesting after CD1.
