So tomorrow is the 8th of March aka Shrove Tuesday aka Mardi Gras aka bloody Pancake Day!

Pancake day is a day in the UK where you eat pancakes. inorite?
I thought I would try spreading the pancake love again this year by making this annual pancake day thread for the second time. I guess this thread is tradition now or something.

Well if I'd known about this day in advance I would've participated.

Though I gotta say crepes (and thin pancakes in general) just don't do it for me. They're like wimpy pancakes. I need my pancakes to be fit for a lumberjack, not a delicate mincing French tutu-wearin' mime! I WANT MY PANCAKE TO FIGHT ME EVERY STEP OF THE DIGESTIVE PROCESS!

Seriously I thought the British hated the French more than most! Why would you make your pancakes like theirs?!

I've never understood Pancake Day. I mean, I enjoy a pancake, so if I want one I'll have one. I don't get why a lot of people never eat pancakes the rest of the year, but get all excited about Pancake Day. It's the same with people who eat turkey at christmas. If they like turkey so mch, why do they never eat it any other time?

No. I could have had some earlier today, but I had already eaten a big meal beforehand. Granted, it's just Aunt Jemima stuff, but they turn out so well. That said, I eat them at least once a month on average, so it's not that big of a deal.
