Oh hi. I'm a lurker. Active on SMW Central. Figured, I have an account here, might as well advertise my SMW hack even more but to a new audience. So here.
The Title is Irrelevant is a "vanilla" hack, except with a couple of hex edits that don't do anything. Demo 2 contains five worlds consisting of forty levels, totalling to forty-seven exits.
Also, it gets a lot better after the sandy yellow world (not a desert). Trust me.
Okay... I'm posting this a few days after this was created, but did you work on SMWCP? Cause I just started playing the game yesterday night, and I swear I saw the guy in your avatar in the Toad-Town bar.
Yes, my avatar actually was in Toad Town in SMWCP. Except I didn't actually do much for the hack at all. (My only contribution to the hack was the ! block graphics, which were then slightly edited by someone else.) So there are no examples of my level design in SMWCP if you were wondering.
also i probably would've preferred if you talked about my hack
Okay. Well, I started playing the game, and I can't find the secret exit on the second level. I played around for about half an hour, then I opened it up in LM, and I still can't find the key. What do I do?
Edit: Oh, yeah. Also, it's fun to cram things where they aren't supposed to be...
"Excuse me, I should be allowed to play Kaizo of my own volition and then spend every episode complaining and asking "why did I play this???" while savescumming."

Near the beginning of the level there's a wall with coins in front of it. Walk into the wall. You'll also need a P-switch.
The secret exit in the second level is probably the most confusing one in the game.
Nyeeeh, I'm never gonna get someone to go through it. Farthest an LPer has gone is mechamind90 and he made it to the second half of part 2 of Glacial Tectonics, world 2 level 2, before saying "fuck it, your sprites goofed and I don't wanna play the level again." (I have since fixed that problem and others.)
*Whiiiiine*

This hack is pretty awesome!
I got almost all secrets, except the one in unclear clearing.
Also, how do I beat Dilapidated (is that actually a word?) house?
GENERATION 25: The first time you see this, copy it into your sig on any forum and add 1 to the generation. Social experiment.
In the room with heaps of boxes in it, there should be a P-switch somewhere. Take the P-switch to a very slightly differently coloured box (a little less red, more on the left side on the room), which will be a pipe. From there you can take the P-switch into the room with the Big Boo. Run past it, through the wall into the small area with the dragon coin and press the P-switch.
In case you were wondering, no, there's no secret exit.
I also posted how to get the secret exit to Unclear Clearing in my SMWC thread if you have trouble with that.
Oh hey, while this thread still exists, might as well post the link to my 2011 Vanilla Contest entry, because I guess it's related to my hack. (and advertising is still fun)
