QUESTION: How do interactive image on these forums?

Once raocow starts playing Wario Land 3, I plan to do a spreadsheet that tracks what treasures he's getting, and which ones lead to what. Something like this (bigger, ofcourse):


This is inspired by what Ometeotl did in the Kirby's Adventure topic. Over there, each 'section' of the image (really just separate banners) links to a different episode of the LP.

I want to do is something similar: have each treasure be clickable, and that leads to the episode they were gotten in.
However, what I want is a bit more complicated, where only the box is clickable.

Is what I want even possible on this forum? If I had Adobe Flash, I think I could do what I want through that, but I don't have it. I don't think having banner images like Ometeotl did would even work on a flow chart. And you can't put images on top of images...

Any ideas guys?

If you wanna put a lot of work into making images and stitching them together... here's an example of what you COULD do:
You can take a sheet like this, you can split it so that every box is its own image and has a buffer of equal height on either side, allowing you to easily stack them like so:











This only mildly brute forces it... It works, but it falls apart as soon as your boxes are only halfway in the same y-region, and it has those divider bars through the forum underlining urls which I don't think you can get rid of. Here's the bbcode for my constellation:

Thankyou very much! I didn't realize on my own I could put images side-by-side like that (some places are funny like that).

I'm having a little difficulty understanding your sentence here:

This is going to take a bit more pre-planning than I was hoping for, so I know how wide the spreadsheet needs to be (and I don't have to fix it later. Thankfully, I have time, and the game on 3DS!

Mm I thought that sentence might be a bit convoluted, sorry! Imagine a scenario where your links overlap like this:

Since this grid has to have a constant height per row (given that "return" to start a new row isn't very flexible), you can't make every link as big as a box. You would have to increase the link height like this:

which could be a bit silly in cases of large offsets, so it's best to avoid offsets on the y-axis.

Oh, of course. I was never planning the treasures to look like that, anyway. Looks too messy when offset, I'd prefer the flowchart to be neat and tidy. Not designed by an elementary student.
