BTSD problem.

Post by RivalNightmare »

Well, it's not really a problem, But, I insert the "Teleport Block" I looked in LM and..there it was! I added it to my level, moved the rom to it's real folder, tested the rom, they only acted like a cement block, then I looked in LM and yup, Cement block. What is wrong?

Ok so you added it to the data base, inserted the bockto a map16 tile, saved with BTSD, reopen LM, and then went to DirectMap16 to insert it into the level? If you did all that then either the code is wrong or the block needs to act like a different tile number.. BUT WAIT THERES MORE! :P If you're using LM 1.81 then you would most likely need to change the tile so its not the default Image because LM 1.81 (and LM 1.8 if you using that for the strangest reason in the world) makes the all the blacks after the last changed map16 tile for a page, empty.

Yes, I am using 1.81, I am gonna try that out. I will edit this post with the "answer"

Because, I actually haven't changed the block's "looks"..
