Guildhaus of Dungeoneering - August 5th 2 PM EST

This is the Guild of Dungeoneering
On our quests, we're never veering
Oh, to be a dungeoneer
Swimming in pools of gold!
Hello I am arabsalmon, you may know me from famous works such as

I had recently been getting into this game, and I wanted to share it in some way with those of the Talkhaus who may or may not have played it before. For those who belong to the latter category, here's a quick rundown:
You are the guild master for the new Guild of Dungeoneering, scoping out chumps to net you some dosh. The game primarily relies on choices made by playing cards such as these:
Image
Depending on the context, these cards will have different meanings and applications. For example, the barracks card is given to you at the start of the game so you can hire your first dungeoneer. Although the layout of your guild is not particularly consequential to progression, the card-selection mechanic also applies to dungeon exploration,

combat,

looting,

and purchasing upgrades for your guild hall.
Image
tl;dr this is a game that heavily relies on choicemaking.

My idea was: I would broadcast a stream of this game on Twitch with a fresh guild. Those who are tuned in at the time would vote on the available choices whenever a decision must be made, whether that is during dungeon construction, combat (this might be iffy, given how long one turn would possibly take), picking loot ($$), or buying an upgrade.

This thread will initially be to gauge how much interest folks would have in something like this. If I feel like there would be enough people around to make it fun, I will consider things like a stream date and how to conduct the vote system (which could quickly get out of hand, even with only a few people).

Tell your friends, tell your dad, tell your cat

If you miss the streams, we're on the tubes:
Day 1: (Part 1 - Part 2 - Part 3 - Part 4 - Part 5)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Edit: For sake of clarity, and because a couple people have asked me this, you do not need to own a copy of the game to participate. The premise is that I will stream the game itself and any viewers would participate via polling through Twitch.

I watched plenty of videos about this to know there are items that give stupidity (essencially a blank card that makes you waste your turn) this can only end well. If I happen to be online I'll try joining, good luck on your adventures

I fully expect this to suffer from the TPP effect

To my knowledge, the game is only on steam, yes.

Update: So I have figured out a way of handling polls on Twitch quite efficiently. Given circumstances, though, the game probably wouldn't be much fun with less than 5 or 6 people.

Anyway there's no reason to kill this off early, so this'll just be quietly sitting here until enough people express interest.

So I'm shooting for Saturday (August 1st) to start the stream. It'll likely be in the afternoon (roughly 2 PM EST?) but I may also consider doing it late in the evening (something like 10 PM) to accomodate those in different timezones. Here are those who have posted here or have otherwise indicated interest.

If you have issues with the timing, feel free to indicate as such because I'd like to accomodate as many people as possible to make this interesting.

2 pm EDT (I'm assuming that's what you mean by EST atm) is 6 am here, so you may want to shoot for 10 pm (2 pm here). (Or earlier in the evening for you, I suppose, like 6-10 pm your time, if it's easier?) Though if that's too inconvenient for others I can sit stuff out.

10 PM would be largely convenient for me as well. If nobody has any qualms, then I'll go ahead and schedule it then.

I was quite disappoint in myself that I'm missing everything from Steam right ever since I have no more PC to use. In regards to my question before, I was judging the screenshots too much that I started to ask that ridiculous question. I thought that this game is also available on Android devices. Sorry but I just made too much false promises to myself.

Aw that's a shame. I think I may do a stream in the afternoon one day for the peeps who can't make it in the evening.

Last night's session went pretty well, we had more of a turnout than I was expecting (i.e. a positive number) and we even had non-talkhaus peeps that wandered in :D

By far the biggest issue was the sheer lag experienced by some folks on their end, meaning it would be maybe 30 mind-numbing seconds before some people could see the choices. That said, unless I can think of some way of circumventing the lag, I might just end up putting a 30-second timer on the polls. If you vote, you vote, if you don't, you don't. Took 2.5 hours for 3 dungeon runs :p

Anyway, since it's more likely we'll get some non-laggy people if I stream in the afternoon (plus people can stick around longer), the next stream will likely be around 2 PM EST. As for the day, it won't be before Wednesday. Keep your eyes peeled.

You could also try hitbox instead of twitch. I remember that the chat has almost no lag on that site.

There is also another streaming service you can try here:

I watched it after the fact and I'm glad things didn't go south as I (and arabsalmon too it seems) was half-expecting.
