So, I was playing this fun yet sometimes frustrating strategic game called Battle For Wesnoth (I know about for almost 10 years), and joined the server to play after 3 years of being away from it. What surprised me the most is to see some...interesting names in the lobby:

Zyglox Odyssey and Horikawa Otane. So that picked my interest in making a threat about this game.

Is anyone playing this game? Do you like it? Let there be some debates and fights about who factions is the most OP.

The bad thing is that I won't be able to play Wesnoth till friday. Until that, enjoy the randomness of Wesnoth.

I used to play this game a lot. Never multiplayer tho, I mostly enjoyed checking out interesting maps and campaigns and stuff (i'd play multiplayer co-op stuff as all the characters) especially things that really changed how the game was played in interesting ways.

I always wanted to make my own content when I was little but I never really managed it.

Pretty much same here ! I come back to this game evry now and then actually, but I usually get too frustrated by the bullshit RNG to play it for too long

So this one time in the skypehaus Horikawa was all 'zyglrox play wesnoth with ditocoaf et al' and added me to an unfamiliar fork of the skypehaus dedicated to Wesnothing. And I mean I can't just not play a game Horikawa tells me to play, literally 100% of the time it's great and not doing it is -10 points anyway.
Fun game, 10/10 have played again many, many times with the others in the Wesnoth chat. A couple of us just finished a game a couple hours ago in fact, though it was less 'a game' and more us farting around with this "Era of Magic" add-on custom factions thing that as it turns out is just the silliest thing.

To this day I still have not played the tutorial. =P

(Also Khalifate are the most OP because their falcons look like kites and their swordsmen can somehow be marksmen with a melee weapon.)

So, yeah, I can play Wesnoth again, anyone up to a game tonight at 10:00 p.m. (around 3 hours ahead of the current time)?
