I noticed there were a lot of updates to this Kickstarter. I did not notice them before, since there was no number next to the link anymore. The comments are still counted on the new layout. It's also ending in three days from now.

Yeah, there are a 'lot' of updates within the past few weeks. Once the kickstarter is over, I'll post what the pledge milestone reached so far.

Final Kickstarter results: over 65,000 backers pledged over $5.77 million USD including PayPal pledges, the highest amount of funding a game has ever achieved on Kickstarter, and the 7th most-funded project overall.
The amount of support for this has been phenomenal. This is looking to be the ultimate example of if a Kickstarted game with tons of funds can work out as envisioned.

That was very successful. Hopefully all those extra things won't effect the main game too much. I'll be mostly looking forward to the castle, and all of the environments they can come up for it.

I wonder if the roguelike mode will randomize the layout of the castle itself, or just the contents of the rooms?
Also a reminder that IIRC they have a publisher lined up and the Kickstarter itself was mostly to prove that a market for the game existed, so the effective budget should be somewhat higher than the actual Kickstarter funding.

also im betting that they do randomize the castle but just do it by putting preset rooms together which is also pretty cheap.... curse you binding of isaac for popularizing that :/
Well it is a decent hack but sometime its just too repetitif there no level that actually pop in your face and your like oh yeah that level they all ressemble themselves and just monster along the way.
