I kinda really want this to happen. I have a little over 2 weeks before the semester starts, so...

The big question is, how would it be run? I mean, it's games of 4v4, so how exactly would we go about bracketing it?

Private matches should be able to do smaller stuff like 2v2. If we want 4v4, we can do rotations.

i can record it, but streaming is iffy because the wii u and the pc have to share the same ethernet cable, and the wii u's wifi is anything but reliable with this game.

I don't feel like 2v2 would be that good, but yeah, I definitely feel like round robin would be a good format in some fashion.
I was thinking putting together teams, but too much cronyism in that I feel. MAYBE if it were pairs. Matches of two pairs vs two pairs, but how would we match that up? Full circle. Maybe 2+2v2+2 could be less complex than matching 4v4, but still.
Certainly one of the bigger problems with something like this.

What loadouts do you guys use? I prefer the krak-on roller and using the beacons as bait for people with longer ranged weapons.

Also what game mode would the tournament use?

If its Turfwar, aerospray mg , using seekers to murder things

if its rank, its either the krak-on roller or the e-liter3k. I might need to try something new as the roller isnt working too well in tower control mode.

I'd say the rollers honestly may be the worst weapons in the game as you get into high level play, but hell, I love them.

Aerospray RG or Custom Splattershot Jr. Trying to branch out a bit, but I'm just too used to the high amounts of ink coverage I get with these. Plus, I'm kind of garbage at combat anyway. Might try one of the inkbrushes at some point since it actually looks sort of fun to use from streams and stuff, but then again, the streamer is waaaaay more skilled than me.

Usually Aerospray RG or sometimes MG, because that's the first weapon I got properly used to. Sometimes I'll use the Splash-o-matic or occasionally the Dual Squelcher, but I'm just so used to the Aerospray that it can be hard to adjust.

p.s. I hate rollers

In splat zones rollers are good for camping choke points or flanking. In tower control they're kind of bad. I usually use .52 cal deco for tower control for the seekers and low time to kill. I get killed by blasters a lot in that game mode, so they must be good too.

Also splatfest starting tonight! Which side are you on?
