Need help with JoyToKey

Post by joeyjoejoejrshabbadu »

I'm probably just an idiot but I can't get it to work at all. I'm using version 3.7.4 and Windows 7, with a PS2 controller hooked up via a USB adaptor (which works great in zsnes and games that have gamepad input options). Told it which buttons were what, but it's uh...just not working. Do I need to assign something to every button, or is my OS incompatible or what?

P.S. Sorry if this is in the wrong place.

After you've saved your button configuration, try closing the program out and then rebooting it up. If the buttons are in the right positions, everything should be fine and ready to go. In fact, start that program up before you even start your game up. That should do the trick.

Figured it out, I just had the wrong joystick selected somehow (for some reason my computer thinks I'm Joystick 2). After I figured that out I did what you said and it worked great, thanks :3
