ExtraLives.org Sonic Marathon for Charity

Sorry if this seems a bit spammy, but I think it deserves some more attention.

The folks over at ExtraLives.org are starting a Sonic the Hedgehog marathon for Charity:Water, which provides access to clean water for villages in developing nations. According to the charity, $20 can provide a person with clean water for 20 years, and $5000 can build a well.
These are the same guys that did that Zelda New Year's marathon ($12,000 raised) and the recent N64 and Pokemon marathons ($10,000 raised each).

All the donations go directly to the charity. The people playing the games don't see a cent.

I don't think many people here are going to donate to charity, or even have money to donate. Still, it doesn't sit too well with me to trash a charity topic
