Mario Prime - The Saga of a Maleficent Mask (SMBX)

First of all, hello! I've been lurking on these forums but only now had the courage to register. I saw quite a few people from this forum play my previous SMBX episode Super Mario Enigmatic / Koopa Reign of Terror, so I thought it would be a good idea to post my new episode here. The release date is today so it's fresh out of the oven. :)

The days are growing darker and it seems an old threat is returning to the world...

Mario Prime takes elements from Metroid and Castlevania games and mixes them together with the Mario universe. Start from scratch, find Shrouded Stars and unlock new areas. Visit old areas when you are stronger and find new ways to advance through them! All the game areas are logically connected to each other.

The episode introduces a save point system to SMBX. Enter waypoints that are scattered throughout the world, save your progress and go right back to adventuring. The save points also act as checkpoints.

The graphics are almost entirely Super Mario Bros 2 -styled and have been created by a talented artist named Sednaiur. Many interesting new enemies and items to be discovered.

You need SMBX 1.3 or higher to play this episode. Extract the .zip file normally into your SMBX\Worlds folder.
