What The Hell (no SS) with a side of Hisotensoku

Post by Clamestarebla »

Gotta git gud:
Meiling VS Patchy
WTH related stuff:
Once upon a time
there was a crazy man
his name was Clem
he didn't know how to rhyme
but that was beside the point
'cause a challenge, he had sought
so the Internet to him brought
he looked at it, cracked his joints
for the game,yes was hard
but the trial to simple
after much thought, frown showed dimple
he had found his trump card
for he, shall play
but a twist, he had in mind
a twist, which'll for sure make him grind
to finish it, to go all the way

Of Hell he shall cross the gate
to accomplish the impossible
for he will conquer every obstacle
all that, without a savestate

So yeah, how much of a trainwreck is this gonna be? I dunno. But it will for sure improve my SMW skills I'll tell you that much. This surely won't be a daily series but instead a weekly or bi-weekly series. What do you think? Will I prevail? Or will I fail (Jesus stop rhyming dude)? Voice your opinion below!

The Episodes:
1-(intro level+Look 'it them Hills) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HWBVJ54RMOk
As soon as foot was set
A cyclops girl he met
Her name, told she,was demo
her quest, told she,was to return Below
A pipe, saw they, at the end of the woods
They entered it, expecting goods
But they found themself in a deep mist
Hovering above a strange abyss
for it would put them back to square one
the girl, found it fun
and jumped repeatedly in the hole
she was annoying, that little troll
but they made their way to the end
but the world would continue to expand
as they saw, the road would be long
but they must be strong
the next challenge drew near
neither of them showed fear
but the terrain was slippery
it almost made them reach insanity
but strong they kept being
and they stopped dying
plowing through the rest
but a there remained one last test
a place of scorching lava and ghosts
the first, of them would make toasts
the latter, making them equals
but they had to brave the evils
as their lives continually diminished
but they were not quite finished
as on their last try they pulled through
against all odd, to the end they flew
the first trial was vanquished
but for their exploit, they shall be punished

Well it is a decent hack but sometime its just too repetitif there no level that actually pop in your face and your like oh yeah that level they all ressemble themselves and just monster along the way.

Man I'd forgotten how different Demo looks in this game to all her other appearances. Is there are really bad and unnecessary canonical explanation as to why there is like there is for why Klingons looked different in the 60s?

I gotta thank you for putting hard saves after the levels Rao, really convenient. Also life farm in level 1 is nice too.

What the Hell is not possible without savestates due to the length of later levels. Most of the later levels are made of multiple sub-levels with each individual sub-level being ridiculously hard in itself. Having to complete 3 or 4 sub-levels of that difficulty in a row without dying is something I just can't see being done on even an irrational timescale.

Let's allow him to find out on his own, I suppose. Would be awesome if he outright proves everyone wrong though.

When I get my ps1 adapter, things are gonna be good I swear.

Because it's kinda hard to be precise when your controller is totally busted

I said it was not possible on a timescale that goes even beyond unreasonably long, and that even the most stubborn people would get disinterested in the game. Compare it to doing a pit hack for example. It is 100% possible to complete it in the game, but the amount of time you would need to get everything pixel perfect, and the fact that you need to start all over if you mess up even once makes the time needed to complete it too long for the patience of humans.

I feel bad for saying stuff like this, because I am rooting for you Clem. Go give it all you have and then some. It would be awesome to be proven wrong.

Believe it or not, it's not that bad actually. Of course when you see the death montage on the next episode that'll be some serious contradiction but I'm also playing with a busted controller right now. Anyways, there's always a trick to beating the level easily whether it's screening the scroll at a certain place or doing a certain a type of jump somewhere there's, pretty much, always a way to break the level so that you can beat it and I don't necessarily feel bad for breaking the level because if it took me forty deaths to figure it out that means I'm knowing the game more and the further on it'll go the better I'll be so that balances out. It's kinda like learning how to speed run a game, you just gotta find all the tricks.

Also that means that when I beat it, I will officially have the multi-segment WR for this game W00T

But, if something's possible to complete in the game it's therefore possible. Timeframe has nothing to do with it. In fact, it's possible to complete any beatable game on your very first time playing, just extremely improbable. What you're saying is this is a highly improbable task. Since people are different, one person may take a long time to learn the level, one person a short time, and one person might just get lucky enough to get far each time without 'learning' much beforehand.

But it's still possible.

Just popping in among all the rest of this to say that the amount of dying you did in that first stage was way less than I would have expected from anybody! I'm rooting for you!

Decided to start LP'ing PMD: Explorers of Sky while my PSX controller adapter is still nowhere to be found on this planet (meaning I'll continue WTH when I get it). And what's that? My voice is in the video? Well whoop-dee-freaking-doo! Here is the first episode where we go through our first bit of tutorial as Ran the Vulpix decides to become BFF with us!

BTW I suggest watching in Full-Screen because the text is REALLY tiny
