Yeah, I knew they were in some capacity still alive after the initial attack, but the manes never really did anything about that. Even if some of them may be alive, they're probably locked in changeling warehouses or something

I agree, season 3 just kinda... Happened. Maybe it was the length, maybe it was the lack of direction, but it seemed to be lacking a certain flair that season 2 had. It had it's moments, sure, but it wasn't anything worth writing home about.

If you were responding to me (and I'm guessing you were because I was the only one to post between your two posts :v ), I was just referring to the finale (Magical Mystery Cure), not the season as a whole.
Also people keep saying season 3 sucked but I liked almost all of its episodes!?!?


My brother (who used to like ponies but doesn't anymore) surprised me with digital versions of... the first 8 chapters of the comics, I think? But I have yet to actually read them because I always feel like I need to be doing or working on something (job pursuit and such) and can't just sit down and read them ;_;

I'll admit, I'm actually pretty far behind on the comics, myself (I'm still in the middle of the Big Mac arc, last I checked). I find it so hard just to sit down and read (and this goes for all the comics I follow, haha).

Also, man, I just really wish the S3 finale was two episodes. I found the whole thing really cool; too bad they simply didn't have enough time to flesh everything out and properly pace the songs/story. Ah, well.

Also, I came to the conclusion after looking over the episode list (And I did say this in a past page so sorry if I'm repeating myself for you Swirly) that I really only disliked the opener and finale of S3, everything else was pretty great. Sleepless in Ponyville and Babs Seed and Magic Duel all especially stick out as really good episodes.

That first one in particular drives me nuts with how cute that situation is and how Luna's acting.

AS WELL, Ego is fairly prominent in the fandom for having created Moonstuck, an adventure comic taking in ideas from the audience.

To be fair, I think repeated the exact same thing that I had said in this thread already...! So it's not your fault (however, 7 pages is clearly too much to search through for a lazy person like me to verify that).


I have a friend who gushes about Minty Fresh Adventure, though I have yet to find time to play it myself >_> I think he says that it's fairly short, but has soooo much content and secrets and multiple endings and stuff that he enjoyed it a lot more than some commercially-available games and... something like that.


Um... I've been totally out of the art scene for a disproportionately long time now, and I wish I drew more pony stuff in general. Would anyone want to drop me some suggestions? I can't promise I'd do them, but I promise to at least consider them very hard.

Finally caught up on the episodes I haven't watched oh my gosh.

I only really skipped out on watching two of the episodes granted, but still it feels pretty bad that it took me two weeks to get up off my butt and just watch the dang things, haha.

Pretty straight forward episodes honestly. "Somepony To Watch Over Me" was really quite lame and "Maud Pie" was really quite sweet. I quite like how Maud's episode was handled overall, it's a good thing to cover.

I thought "Somepony to Watch Over Me" was pretty good; it was a nice little thing to show how Apple Bloom is maturing. I mean, we all had that feeling when we first got to stay home alone for an extended period of time, right? Although AJ's behavior was a bit... unsettling.

I want to say someone was thinking of Monty Python and the Holy Grail with the Chimaera, but that person would probably end up being me. :/

As for "Maud Pie", I'm literally just about to watch it when my laundry finishes. So about 2 minutes. I hope it's as good as I've heard. They usually are, so I'm excited. :)

I'm not a shipper, never have been. Bad experiences in fandoms have left a bad taste in my mouth.
I do read fanfics though, typically funny ones or adventure. Love Anthropology, My Little GlaDOS, The Mailmare, and a ton of others.
