I can't wait for September to see how Peter Capaldi tackles the role...

He was one of my favorite characters. I really wanted him to be given a proper sendoff then the "shocker" ending he got, if you pardon the pun.Horikawa Otane wrote:I'm sure he'll be fine.Maiku Wotaharu wrote:I can't wait for September to see how Peter Capaldi tackles the role...
I'm more excited by the return of Adric actually haha. I wonder how they'll treat/update his character... Especially with Matthew Waterhouse looking and sounding nothing like he did.

He may have been a brat, but he was still a kid. He tried to save the Earth with his final actions and all he wanted in the end was to get back home to E-Space...Horikawa Otane wrote:Wait so you liked the character, but didn't like the goodbye?
Oh wow, for almost everyone (myself included) it's the literal exact opposite. How interesting!

You wouldn't happen to have that BFA story readily available, would you?Horikawa Otane wrote:It's okay he then canonically became king of the dinosaurs.Maiku Wotaharu wrote:He may have been a brat, but he was still a kid. I actually have a physical copy of Zagreus. Also, I enjoyed The Marian Conspiracy (you might want to see the Tardis wiki and check the history of who edited "Sarah Whiteside"), An Earthly Child, and The Spectre of Lanyon Moor as well.

Re: TV Shows: Those Things That People Watch
Well, I started with Zagreus because of its milestone status (the 50th story, Jon Pertwee's posthumous involvement, et cetera). Then I went to An Earthly Child because it was a Susan story (and Paul McGann's son playing the Doctor's great-grandson). Apart from those two, I've only listened to stories 1-13 in the main set so far (Whispers of Terror being my favorite).Horikawa Otane wrote:My, you are quite the fan! <3Maiku Wotaharu wrote:I actually have a physical copy of Zagreus. How much of BFA's stuff have you heard? I've tackled 1-87 on the Main Range, Seasons 1-3 of The Lost Stories, Series 1-3 of Gallifrey, Seasons 1-3 of Benny, and Season 1 of The Companion Chronicles.
Oh, and the first serial in Season 4 of The Lost Stories and the 50th of course, as well as assorted bonus releases, etc.
