Hello, hello, hello users and lurkers of talkhaus.

So, judging by the current list of topics (and of course the description of the board) this be the place to update people on new LPing projects.

WELL, I wish I had a project to tell of, but sadly my project list is full of cobwebs and dust. (Actually, technically I do have an LP I'm doing, but it's been put on hold since my partner in crime, RottenRebel, whom I started the LP with and am going to continue doing it with, is in Wisconsin for a month.) So I've nothing to do.

BUT, perhaps one of you lovely people could help with that? Anybody got a ROM hack or any game that they want LPed? If you would like, you could give it to me to play. I review the hacks that I recieve to be LPed and also, of course, make videos of the LP, which can be found at the following link: youtube.com/user/BwarchtheGamer

I'll LP just about anything AS LONG AS it is not very difficult to play/beat. In other words, DON'T SEND ME A KAIZO-ESQUE HACK. If a game is too hard, to me that means it isn't that fun. If you're in the same level for an hour, that ain't fun in my opinion...

Hm. Never done a Pokemon hack before. Heck, it's been YEARS since I've played an actual, legit Pokemon game xD (I played Pokemon Rumble recently from WiiWare. Okay game but it's definitely not the traditional Pokemon game) It might be fun to do anyway though~

So since I haven't gotten a message from you yet on the file I might download it myself, eh? But just to be sure, which version do you want LPed of this apparently boring hack? There seem to be several different ones.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, I don't think it would be a very good idea to do an LP of a Pokemon hack. I forgot how long Pokemon games could be, silly me. So, if you all understand, I shall say I won't take any Pokemon hack requests.

I did apply it to a clean ROM so I thought all of it must've been normal. That's so funny. I'll go back and annotate the videos to let everybody know the hack was somehow glitched and it wasn't supposed to be that way. Thanks for recommending it to play anyway mate, it was really fun ESPECIALLY with the glitchedness.

It helps if you do games you're interested in. I find when I LP games I just don't care for, everything falls flat and seems boring.

True, true. But I'm mostly a request guy because everything I WANT to LP has already been LPed many, many times. Not to mention I like the idea of LPs not only being for entertainment, but also to help the maker see what was and wasn't a good idea and learn from that.

Right now I've got a SMW ROM hack I'm doing that will take a while to do, but after I'm finished with it I shall try and see if I can do Megaman Zero (on the GBA) justice. Another factor on whether I do it is whether my recording software wants to work with me.

No$GBA should work with fraps, I'll try and come to tell you if it is or not ;)

EDIT: Seems to not be working with stock no$gba, I tried with no$zoomer and it was working but the screen was blinking and it had a sort of frame on the right and bottom side, I'll try to find something that could work for you.

Yes, I know :/ None of that helps. Just because Fraps is open and in the taskbar doesn't mean it's recording. Which is why I have the framerate up, so that if it's red I know I'm doing the right thing.

Yukan 2 is a game that has a very retro, fun feel to it, it also somewhat feels like a Mario ROM hack, although that might be just because of all the kinda jerk-ish things that happen. (But unlike in jerk-ish ROM hacks the jerk-ish things are survivable here and don't just instantly kill you!) The mechanics in the game are really creative, for being handled by just two people.

The game isn't perfect, because of the design certain points can feel drawn out and boring, but some might say this is the charm of the game.

It's also the game that has given me the most frustration EVER in recording. I explain all that in the first video.

Anyway, it's probably my most professionally-done LP thus far, so I hope you enjoy! And if you have any critiques for me, let me hear them!
