I've read through what you have so far. It's got potential, I can see you're going somewhere with this. Being absolutely honest, the art could use a lot of improvement but, like, right where you are at this moment, it's better than 60% of the webcomics out there. Like, the sailing ship on page #11 was really nicely done, good perspective and detail. I wanna see more of that! And I'm sure that as time passes, your artist will improve her skills greatly.

BUT! Two major pieces of advice:

- I like to see comics on the actual front page. Having to click to get to the actual first comic is a bit of a SLIGHT extra annoyance that you don't need to give to your readers.

- Jpeg compression! The compression and Jpeg artifacts on page 11 really destroys the niceness of the page. I'd like to see much higher resolutions: have her save it at maximum quality. Or save it as high-resolution .png files. Also, you may want to shrink it so that it fits on most computer screens and browsers -- somewhere around 700-1000 pixels wide would be best.

I actually have nothing to do with this one (other than making a cameo as the villain Dr. Jinx later in the series), but it's pretty cool.

Just a heads up. Um, due to... IRL things, I may not be updating/monitoring this thread quite as much soon. I need to get away from where I am and clear my head and all that kinda crap you guys don't wanna hear about, so... I'll leave you with this.

A very, very sincere thank you, to everyone who's read TG; if only for a moment, and especially to those who have offered advice/comments on the site or on the talkhaus. I can't express really how much it means to me, to see something I've made be... recognized. I know that a hundred or so readers is really no big deal on the Internet, but to me, it's a huge milestone. I know this site is raocow's gig, and we're all here because we're fans of his videos and comic; but that you guys would take time out of your day to look at my stuff... heh. It's really awesome.

So yeah. On hiatus, I guess. You know how it goes, when stuff gets a bit too heavy, lol. Ill go ahead and throw some pics in this post or something so it's not just a random bump, and to pretend like I have content... also, I feel I should let ya' know that the new page will be up here in a day or two; Shley is already coloring it.

That's why you should write like ten or twenty pages of script beforehand! It's almost always true that it takes less time to write than to draw a comic, so you should have it fairly written out before so your artist has something to work on if you have to pull a hiatus from writing.

We have enough plot and dialogue written out to last a few months, actually. I spent a few entirely sleepless nights before we put up the site just... burning through dialogue and story arcs, how they interconnect and who was where during what character wise.

Fret not, TG will continue uninterrupted by my presence- proving that I am the least important part of the system, haha! There will be no thread updates, most likely, and I won't be able to tweak the site (unless she learns html in the next two days) but the story itself will proceed on schedule.
