Quick LP Tech Question; What's a good capture card to use?

I've looked on a few specialist Lets Play forums for tech info, but most of them give about 5 different options and I'm not sure which would work best.

So what would be the best option for recording video from a Wii or Wii U? That works with Windows 7? And that doesn't cost a few hundred pounds or more?

I'd be very grateful if anyone here could answer or say what they use to capture footage, I've been planning on buying a capture card/device for a while and I can't really find any concrete recommendations on which one to buy.
