So, yeah, this is a small thing, and a silly thing at that, but it's a thing that's been bugging me quite a lot for some reason. Well, you guys know that 3000 Leagues in Search of Bowser, right? And you also know the Touhou version, right? Well, I've never managed to find a video in YouTube that answers that burning question, and I just haven't had the time to get on a computer and download the patch.
Well, the question is: Who is the second player in the Touhou version? Is it a recolored Marisa? Or Reimu, perhaps? And what do their shrunk, grown, powered-up, victory and death sprites look like?

I forget, can smw support two different players that have completely different graphics? Well, other than something like Drama Mistery.

i think drama mistery's thing was just a matter of swapping player 1's graphics in certain levelsraocow wrote:I forget, can smw support two different players that have completely different graphics? Well, other than something like Drama Mistery.

Re: A really silly question regarding 3000LiSoB
The second player is just a green-outfit Marisa. I think gamercal was doing a stream of 3000LiSoB and he was playing with Kibatu, and the second player was just a green Marisa.
Because Touhou OCs can in fact exist, sounds fake I know.
I can't change my username but I go by Vali/Claire now (aka call me Vali or Claire at your leisure ^^).
I never update this currently playing section anymore, it's probably an RPG or something.

Well, that answers my question, and this has made me realize something that was fairly obvious, but not easily noticeable(if that makes sense).Validon98 wrote:The second player is just a green-outfit Marisa. So, essentially, all "players" have the same character, only with different palettes, with the exception of a few ingeniously-crafted hacks. Man, I realized that only now.alex2 wrote:This is correct.KobaBeach wrote:i think drama mistery's thing was just a matter of swapping player 1's graphics in certain levelsraocow wrote:I forget, can smw support two different players that have completely different graphics? In theory, one could have as many different "players" as you want. Taking into consideration that a "player" is a controllable character that has its own logging system for score, coins, lives, etc.
