Chapter Ten
TheVulpineHero was locked in battle with Mata Hari on top of a great mountain Monastery.
"You are about to unleash things which you do not understand," Mata Hari said, "Knowledge that will destroy worlds."
"What, I don't even know where I am, why I am fighting you. So many chapters were skipped." He responded."
"As if you don't know what chapter 8 entails, you'll doom every living thing on the planet."
Thevulpinehero glanced around to figure out what was going on. Mia, was fighting Doctor Shemp; mostly just running from him for she hasn't figured out how to cast any spell with her staff. Validon, was fighting evenly matched with Octagon. Finally there was one of his other allies, Shermura fighting a highly elemental battle with Pholtos, who seemed to have more power but less control.
"What these are all people who worked on ASMBXT. Why would the development team want to stop us?" Thevulpinehero asked.
"You weren't there. It's something an outsider like you would never understand." Mata Hari said.
"But I was there watching everything along with everyone else. You weren't the only ones to suffer that cruel and fallen postgame! You self-righteous game designers weren't the only ones living through that dark time. To see something as wrong and horrible as USS Suboptimal, then see thing get unimaginably shock by such a abyssal downturn right after that."
"Don't say that you understand. The screams and silence by the ones who have fallen first to The Level That Shall Not Be Name, was bad enough. We know we were about to lose our families and loved ones. We must cleanse the world of our sins if it's that last thing we do. Now die for all of humanities' sake"

"No, don't even mention that ever again. Do you really think ??? can do anything that can compare to what Septentrion will do. Yes, that is what you missed in Chapter 8 Mr. Vulpinehero. He's been planning this from the start."

"No, he knows exactly what he is doing. He is the incarnate of all that is evil. I can see his plans already. He will kill all the non-white people, then enslave all the White people, then kill all of the white people after he enslaves then. He will then bring everyone back from the dead, but only as various body parts, for all eternity. Then he will uses all the people who have skulls and kill puppies with them, forces the people with eyes to watch."
"No one is that evil. He simple didn't know... ...Wait a minute where's Jeseusiscontent?"
"You mean that guy I eviscerated in Chapter 9," said Dr. Kraid.
"What?"
Thevulpinehero froze solid. His lancer, the only competent person in the entire party was dead, and his killer, Dr Kraid, has just join the fight. He already had his hands full with Mata Hari, and the rest of his party wasn't looking to good. He was out numbered and outmatch.
"It's no use, I surrender" Thevulpinehero said.
"What?" said Mia, Shermura, and Validon.
"They have us out matched, and out numbered."
"Like hell they have use outnumbered. I'm here!" Platinum Triforce corrected.
"But even then, that doesn't change the fact that they out match us."
"No there must be a way. I've tried to help in ever way I could. Like when you all had to rush of to save a town from a dragon, I was there to remember to turn off the stove. And when you all rescued the princess, I was there sometimes stating the obvious. I'm overdue for doing something useful" Platinumtriforce continued."
"Can't we knock them out right now," said Mata Hari.
"No young prodigal. Taking is a free action," said shaman's wise voice in Mata Hari's head.
"I just realized something, Mata Hari and Dr Kriad is the same person.
"That doesn't change the fact that you're usefulness is infinitesimal." Mata Hari said.
"No, but it does mean we technically outnumber them. Thank you Platinum for the +4 moral bonus," Mia said chick-hugging Platinumtriforce.
"Does this mean, we're dating?" PlatinumTriforce asked.
Mia whacked her staff on his head.
"Ow, that hurt, and suddenly my ankle is no longer broken."
Mai just realized she now was a badass with her newfound healing abilities.
"Okay everyone, go aggressively as recklessly as possible, and I will bash you will my giant stick as hard and often as possible(that's what he said)."
After about 48 gallon of blood splattered all over the temple roof, the enemy was subdued quite without much incident.
"And that is why you don't use two names", said Mia as she kicked Mata Hari in the face.
