Folders won't delete, so is this the right way to enter the command prompt for force deletion, do not delete system files but delete this folder and it's subsidiaries:

So you can not delete a single folder? Because you might want to look into that on some serious tech forum for more info about that.

Is this every folder that won't delete or just some folders?
if just some, are there files inside them folders that won't delete as well?

If a folder won't delete, it's because it's still being referenced by some program or something.

Close every program, clear the recent opened and viewing lists, and de-reference it everywhere. If it still doesn't delete then there's a serious issue.

Kilon, I have exactly the same problem! Even when I have no programs running, it won't let me delete folders that I have previously used. The only way I know to fix it is to log out or reboot. I'm afraid I can't help you with DOS commands, I only know unix.

This is gonna sound kinda stupid on my part-
Did you try restarting?
Some of my folders do that from time to time because the program appears closed, but it doesn't close correctly or whatnot and usually a restart or something like that usually works for me.

If you can still delete folders from exporer, then your problem is using rmdir when you should have used whatever the windows equivalent of rm -r is.
And now the coast is clear, I just need to deal... with my number one fan.
Riku~n, why do you keep wanting to murder me like this?
I wouldn't mind that smile so much if your skin wasn't made of poison for some reason.
