I couldn't find anything to necrobump on this one, so I figured I'd start a thing (can't be the only one with a pet can I?) So here we go! Post a pet picture! Stories! Something 'cause you know you love 'em! I'll start with my three.

Sara

My adorable simpleton. She's scared of just about everything. I gave her a boring name because the rest of her is unique enough. She drinks with her paws, she plays with dog toys, she totally got a +1 coat, and she's got some weird stomach thing I don't understand.

Devon

Actually short for Devonian, but he gets called many permutations of things. He drools like a dog when he's happy, and comes when he's called. the vets at our office love when he comes because he's silly and has the prettiest blue eyes~ (he's sick in the picture so you can't see 'em much)

Nick M.

Not something you see everyday I guess. This is my hedgehog, Knickerbocker Myu. Usually just call 'm Nick, 'cause yeah. They do look like the myus from Zelda 2, which I thought was pretty awesome. They jump too, is the scary thing. He likes to leap off my lap (they're more or less useless in terms of seeing). His favorite passtime is looking like the drunk kid at a party.

okay, actually I just wanted to start something like this when I found this one :)

That's my dog, Nico, you only see his head, because he covered himself with sheets.
Nico likes to sleep... to eat... to "communicate" with dogs in the neighbour house which he sometimes imagines, I think . And except from that his favorite lying position is with the belly flat on the ground and the legs sticking out right-angled to the left and right. (I'll try to get you a picture, because most people think it looks hilarious )

Lucky

Named for the fact that she was a stray barely old enough to be away from her mother, and because she crossed a four-lane highway (with traffic) to reach my stepfather. Now she thinks she's the greatest cat of all time. Also, she's very fat. Not from overeating. She just...is.

I have a ferret named Trout, too, but I can't find a picture. Guess I'll edit after I take one.

d'awww guys, those are so cute! Is Nico a cocker or am I coked out on my dog breeds? I haven't had a dog in so long I have a hard time keeping things straight. And I would pet the crap outta Lucky! XD Sometimes I wish I could've been a vet or zoologist like I wanted to, I love animals so much!

And, since the last Nick picture was faceless, I present to you--Mr. Poo Mittens gets a bath!

The bits in the bath are little bedding bits I couldn't pick out of his pokeys before I put him in the tub. ... Not that he doesn't end up pooing anyway! He's so icky. [/color]

I wouldn't pet her too much right now. She's shedding her winter coat, and her fur is very fine. If even one gets in your mouth, you will suffer the agony for five eternities.

That's an exaggeration, but only slightly.

This is Molly; a lady that lives/lived near us when I was little found her when she was a kitten and brought her to us so my mom could take care of her, because she had a hurt foot or something. She's something like 15 now and is under the impression that I am a chair. I love her <3

Probably. Not a big part, she's kind of a small cat, but she's definitely got the fur XD

Does anyone else's cat/small dog ever sit on your chest and slap you in the face, or are my cats certifiably crazy? I know it's not meanness, and sometimes it's because she wants me to pet her... but I'm trying to type and she's trying to stick her paw up my nose.

My cat does a very good job of being in the way when I'm trying to type, but she doesn't try to hit me XD Just gets her fat fluffy self on top of my arms and refuses to move.
