Sorry, I meant to say his keyboard. What. The. Heck.
Anyways, my bro's laptop is a Compaq Presario AMD Athlon X2 with nVidia graphics and Wi-Fi certified. Of course, he's running Vista. What I wanna know is how to fix it permanently so that we don't have to keep waiting for him to somehow get to the Control Panel (or restart in the case of full-screen games) each and everytime he accidentally hits CAPS.
Help! My brother's CAPS LOCK disables his keyboard!

Let me get this straight; only when you're in (fullscreen) games, the caps lock makes you not able to continue in the game due to nnon responding keys?
But it does work when you alt-tab out of the game and mess around on the desktop?

It sounds like he can't alt-tab out so he has to restart the computer. But the mouse works while he's in windowed games apparently?
And now the coast is clear, I just need to deal... with my number one fan.
Riku~n, why do you keep wanting to murder me like this?
I wouldn't mind that smile so much if your skin wasn't made of poison for some reason.

His mouse still works for some reason. He usually has to go to the Control Panel > Keyboard, then click on the slider (not move it, click on it), then hit CAPS LOCK followed by clicking on the 'Apply' button. This generally fixes it until he hits CAPS again. Naturally, he can't do this while playing Call of Duty, as that is full screen and I have yet to see a menu button near the edge of the screen (or, for that matter, a way for the mouse to GET to the edge of the screen).
And no, this is neither joke nor troll.
