Hey guys so my old art thread is something like five pages back and full of old garbage so I'm making a new thread. I guess I'm just going to dump a bunch of 3-D stuff here because I haven't really done any 2-D stuff of note lately.

So here's a monkey enemy guy. He heals other units in an aura around him.
The elite version, which is really just a texture swap. He slows you down in addition to healing nearby units.
Both monkeys wield a staff.
Mostly these guys are just decoration for the lovely hell-garden.
I animated this guy, too, but it's sort of annoying to render those out in a way that's easy to show off. Anyway, he sleeps until you wake him up, and then he eats nearby enemies.
An actual render of the sheriff of an unfortunate town overrun by zombies. Sadly, pretty much the entire group for that game failed and was sent back to the beginning of final project, and the game never came to fruition.
The Pale Rider. He was going to be the final boss of the aforementioned western zombie game. I had loads of fun designing this guy, and I'm actually really sad he never really got to be seen in action.
Zsculpt of a Lizardman Chieftain sorta guy. I think I accidentally some of the lighting, but overall I'm really happy with this guy.
Also have a bunch of random pixel art. For some reason I only bothered to blow a few of them up to actually visible sizes.

Man, I've been following your tumblr for a while now and have seen you posting some base models and whatnot, but these finished 3D models look really amazing!
Didn't know you were working on a game earlier, either. Are you currently part of any project too, or just doing these for your school?

Really amazing stuff you've made there!
My favourite is the Pale Rider. I bet it took you quite a while to design these guys, so: Good job!

Re: Tsu Does Art
I think I'd mentioned a lot of it on my tumblr. Anyway, it's a project for school, we spend five months working with the game dev students making a game. Satan's Family Jewels just finished up at the end of last month, so right now I'm not working on any big projects right now. I've gotta put my demo reel and resume together, and then it's job-hunting time.Aposke wrote:Man, I've been following your tumblr for a while now and have seen you posting some base models and whatnot, but these finished 3D models look really amazing!

I will be posting a link to the game download as soon as out indie.db page goes up. You can download the game for free, but since we only had five months and had to focus on making it work on a specific test machine, it might not work on all computers.
He's probably my favorite, too. He's pretty much the main reason I managed to get myself so hyped up about doing character work on a zombie game. We had basically a month and a half of preproduction, so that's about how long it took to finalize the designs, although there were also three different zombie enemies to finalize in there, too, as well as a lot of stuff that wasn't characters.Paperkoopa wrote:Really amazing stuff you've made there!

As for making the model and texture, I'd done the Sheriff, Rider, and basic zombie over the course of one month. Most of the work goes into the texture, honestly.
I do have the final version of the basic zombie enemy lying around somewhere, once I sort some other stuff out, I'll see about doing a good render of him.
Thanks, man!swirlybomb wrote:These look pretty amazing!! Fabulous work. :D

Hey guys I made some stuff but I never got around to posting it here because I was too busy lurking forever.
Okay so first off, here's an actually good render of that lizard guy in the OP. Warning: large image
So here's a pixely dohickey for a game I was planning with some friends that fell through because one of them got really pissy and then everyone got really lazy,
And a concept of the player character from that same game. I do like the design, though, so maybe I'll model her at some point.
Original characters, do not steal.

Normal Human
Incidentally, I need more practice drawing people, so if you give me a picture of yourself, I will probably get around to drawing it at some point.
