Now that the Canada Day week has rolled on by and I am officially out of my coma induced by the sheer power of a twenty-four hour Canadian Patriotism Rush, I can finally come back to this topic and conclude what I started - this big, masturbatory slurry that I like to call, "talking about my part of the country."
Sebby19 wrote:Argh, I forgot the fog. That's like 600 days of the year for you guys. You also get the heaviest snow.

Do you mean polar bears on the island, or in Labrador?
Both. I don't now nor have I ever lived in Labrador, so I can't exactly speak for them, but I know it does happen sometimes. It's not very often that it happens on the Rock, and polar bears definitely aren't apt to drift down to St. Johns. But it does happen, in other parts of the island, and often enough that things don't come to a complete grinding halt when a nature's largest land carnivore decides to take the global warming skidoo to it's cabin in south Dildo (If anyone is familiar with Newfoundland culture, you are laughing right now!). Also occasionally you get to hear the words, "polar bear warning," on the news, which is an experience that's... sort of hard to describe! The best I've ever heard it exposited upon (As said by a Newfoundlander): "Yes, b'ye."

I've also heard that our country's largest herbivore (the moose, it's on our quarter) can also mess things up for you guys as well. Those things can mess up semi-trucks if hit!

I don't really know. Majorty of stereotypes and/or jokes we have about other provinces are based around sports, and since I don't keep up with sports of any kind, I really wouldn't know. Haha!

Since Argue is in Canada, I decided to ditch and I'm heading to the states. Montana, to be more specific.

What's really weird is that we've been driving for maybe 4 hours (we're still in Saskatchewan) and so far I've seen like... 7 Quebec license plates

Ash, two things about your picture:

1) What is up with those two puffs of smoke above that one chimney. They have like, faces when you zoom in. They are like, legit Whisps that belong in a Boo Ring.

2) There is a vehicle parked across from you that has a manitoba license plate. I'm calling shenanigans, ya hoser.

1: Those "puffs of smoke" are reflections of lights in my house

2: If you're referring to the license plate of the vehicle parked at 1230 with the trailer beside it, that's a Saskatchewan license plate. And how do you even see it? It's made up of like... 3 pixels.

When I view the icture, it is automoatically zoomed in. I just thought I saw the light brown prairies on the bottom of the license plate, below the familiar green trees above.

It's not the most scenic place ever, but it brought us Corner Gas, which was one of my favorite shows ever. It's funny, because a lot of stuff from the show was filmed in Regina (where I live), so on certain episodes I recognize, for example, the area of a specific mall they're in or something.
