I've been drawing comics for several years now, though to be honest I am a tad rusty after the few months of scholarship scrambling and job hunting. Getting back into the groove of things, so I want to show you peeps the work I have done. I have a comic series that I need to catch my deviantArt up on that I believe includes projects I've done for school and such, plus the old account where I post less serious things that I feel don't really fit into my main account.
I'm also setting up a Livestream where I'll be doodling and drawing stuff. I personally want it to be an art busk, where even the tiniest donations to help pay for impending school would allow the donator to request a certain drawing be made, but even if that doesn't happen I'd still be drawing things for fun and for my comics.
If you guys have any sort of suggestions on how to make the comic better and what techniques to use, you can definitely tell me.

Did you ever get any of those scholarships? I remember applying to at least twenty five different ones, and only got one that I couldn't use because I was in the wrong school.

Unfortunately, no. The only one that I actually heard back from was the big $10k scholarship saying that I wasn't a finalist. I'm still waiting on a private grant to contact me back, but I'm worried because it's a first-come, first-served type of grant that I mailed everything in to the day they uploaded the application, and have yet to hear anything back from.
It's really sucky. I really don't want to be saddled with over fifty thousand dollars in debt, but with all the competition for scholarships being insane to where I can't get anything, there's really no other option. And I don't feel like foregoing college either, for plenty of personal reasons, so I'm scrambling for whatever cash I can get, loans or otherwise. Too bad jobs have an even more insane competition for menial positions, or I would have had at least that a long time ago.
Sorry for gushing, but it's getting to where I'm desperate for any kind of assistance.

Yeah, I'm in the same boat.
We're pretty much setting sail in the same manner.
