What do you think about this hack?

(Its the only video I can find)
I think that the TXT to JPG idea is kind of taken from MGU2 (ZIP files)
Your opinion

Re: Your opinion
Only watched ten minutes, after the second Kaizo trap I gave up seeing if there was anything interesting. If minutes could be refunded...osm70 wrote:Hi guys

Re: Your opinion
I agree with Bwarch. Things like that really aren't all to entertaining to watch or play. Plus, there were glitchy graphics in some places, and an unfitting palette. So, yeah. I'm not a big fan.
Re: Your opinion
Okay, I'll be honest, it needs work. The default overworld looks bland (I like the concept of the save point and custom overworld sprites, but not editing it is plain lazy), and the first few levels are really, really lacking in sprites and interesting things to do.
Kaizo traps aren't good.
The glitchy tiles in 'stolen' are off putting, did you forget to save the map16 page by pressing either F9 or the save icon? Also, don't know what it's stolen from, but it looks more interesting than the past ones level design wise. Oh, and dear God, the cut off...
The Switch Palace had a nice concept, albeit poorly executed, but the level before with the Iggy Koopa boss battle was lazy. Never use the default Koopalings in a hack with 'chocolate' elements, and especially don't shove them in a random level after a cut off pipe four feet from the start.
Switch Check was lazily designed, although it did exactly what it was meant to, and let's face it, any level which relies on switches to see if you can progress will work much the same way. However, does that mean if you enter without them you just fall into a bottomless pit to your death? Rather unfair design there.
Hell was poorly designed, just flat ground with a cut off goal, Kaizo trap, item babysitting and floating stacked Munchers surrounding a P Switch.
The next two levels were extremely lazily designed, no enemies or nothing.
Secret was a blatant level edit of Vanilla Secret 2.
To Switch was unedited
The Green Switch Palace was better, but still boringly designed.
I like the gimmick where you needed to get a game genie code from a text file, but the levels in general were poorly designed, poorly thought out and generally unremarkable in every way. Seems like a fairly typical Youtube hack with the addition of a few random gimmicks thrown in here and there.
