If you haven't played it yet Eversion would be awesome.

In my oppinion a NES game for once would be cool to see too, like for example Kirby's Adventure.

unless there's some weird incompatibility with it and your recording software I'd think it would work.
There's also a program called 3D Analyze that can force Windowed Mode, and I used that to record a fullscreen program with HyperCam, so it should work with whatever you're using.

But Braid is not a freeware game and can only be played in fullscreen (i guess).

I like the suggestions of Alexander and Herasy. Some games look pretty cool, indeed.

I would suggest Ikachan, if you guys love Cave Story wou will definetly love Ikachan, because it's another game of Pixel yeah, but also because it's based on the beta of Cave Story.

Link for the game.

Hi there! I registered just for this, I guess. *Five second intro ends*

(Although I planed on joining months ago, but never really got around to it) *It actually ends HERE *

Anyways, I recommend "Give Up, Robot" by Matt Makes Games, it's a fun game in which you use a grappling hook to move from level to level.
http://mattmakesgames.com/games.php

Also, I'd suggest "Yume Nikki", but I don't really think there's much to LP about it, and you have to "get" it, to find it interesting and stuff.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yume_Nikki
You can download it from uboachan.net

Either way, both are an hour long or so, so I guess they'd work if you want to make a quick LP, or something.

Vista Quest 2

It's actually a game that a friend of mine made in Game Maker, it's a platformer with about 40 levels.

It's a lot like Mario, and I don't remember if there's Game Pad support, but the keyboard keys can be set up almost however you like. Also no-one knew about this game before I posted it, so I guess you'd be the first to LP it.

But that is just my suggestion.

^Agreed with Eversion. From what I've seen it looks neat, although I've heard it's pretty short. I would still love to watch a raocow LP of it.

I agree with Eversion, it's a pretty sweet game. It's been very LP'd 2 years ago, though.

I already PM'ed you about that, but I am the creator of an I Wanna be the Guy fangame called I Wanna be the Tribute (which got kinda big without me knowing), and, being a huge fan of you like I am, there's a whole area in the game based on what I watched of your LP's, so I would be quite happy to see you playing it. or at least attempting to, because I know how you hate "unfair" difficulty games and hacks like IWBTG and kaizo

anyway, worth giving a shot, the link for the latest version is here:
http://www.mediafire.com/?l0gzm2dmjyz

and here's the IWBTG forum post about the game:
http://kayin.pyoko.org/iwbtg/forums/ind ... pic=3712.0

anyway, have fun on what you're going to play anyway!

DeceasedCrab's covered La Mulana, Cave Story, Eversion, Iji and Hero Core. Chzo series has been LPd at SomethingAwful, with bonus commentary by Yahtzee himself. It's hard to top that.

I like Aquaria a lot, but it is a Metroidvania game so there's plenty of unguided wandering. If you liked Warning Forever, there's plenty of player-made content for Fraxy. I'd recommend Star Control II, but you really need either a walkthrough or multiple playthroughs to get the most of it.

You should play "THE GAME" blind. There's literally a game called "THE GAME". But do it blind. I'd like to see some of your reactions to it. :D

Yeah raocow, you should try this. I'd really like to see you play Obake, it'd be pretty fun, I think.

Well, this isn't Cave Story, but a pretty neat CS mod called The Wrath of Revorshkenahl. Not only do I wanna see raocow LP this, I want to see how he tries to pronounce it.

Oh man! I think this game is exactly up raocow's ally. It's a precision platformer where the goal is to collect every coin from various stages.

As a sort of silly suggestion how about this game: http://www.mobygames.com/game/sega-mast ... ostbusters its beautifully confusing and weird so I suggest going in blind, but it should probably be saved for a random week due to its length.

Yume Nikki, while not a bad game, is LPed a lot. Besides, if raocow was going to play a game like that, he should play LSD Dream Emulator. It is a much better game and would be a lot more hilarious to watch, but since that's a PS1 game, that's not going to happen.

I am going to jump on the Matt Makes Games bandwagon, if only because you seemed to have a lot of fun playing AUS and Runman. In your AUS LP you mentioned a game called Jumper, and since there are a handful of games in the series you could make a pretty big LP out of the series if you wanted.

I really don't want to overload you with suggestions here, but you might also get a kick out of a Japanese GBA game called Kuru Kuru Kururin. It's a really weird sort of puzzle-ish game, the concept is simple but the game is insanely fun.
