Sword of Mana - Granz Castle done, Garuda and Dark Lord defeated. Grinding outside of Lorimar rn

Sword of Mana - Lorimar affairs done and I'm just levelling up before Ifrit (Ifflyte feels like a localization error to me, like Malirys)

Seabed Volcano is trash

Crystalis completed. Without the Warrior Ring to fire off first-level ranged blasts at will, I'm not sure I would've had fun in that final area. Anyway, I had fun with this one.

Sword of Mana - Complete and I gotta say, this game fucks? I had to put the Julius battle theme on max.

Definitely replaying for the sidequests sometime. Pacing forging better so as to not pity grind asap was the right choice.

EDIT: oh hey a chocobo appears if you idle on the ending screen for long enough

Been playing through Revelations: The Demon Slayer again. I'm experimenting a bit more with stats. Fusion still sucks though (since you talk five levels above, but can only fuse two levels above, so there's long stretches of game where you just... can't fuse)

I also got talked into playing through Might and Magic Merge. again.

Meanwhile I'm just doing some mob killing quests in Ragnarok Online through the Midgard Tales server. fucking about in Glastheim, and I figured out how to use hotbars thanks to Maple Story sometime ago, also messing about with Zenonia as a breather the other day (action rpg combat is comforting ( ´w`)). The Imperial Guard's Moon Slasher is DAMN good, but I'm not a PvP slut so

Kind of having a silly goal where I'm trying to beat a game on every Nintendo system I've had this year. The SNES and NES game have already been taken care of, and I'm using the NSO service to figure out which Game Boy Advance game I want to go through. Right now, it's either Kuru Kuru Kururin or Mario Kart: Super Circuit. The former stick-spinning game got played up to World 5 last year, the latter's one of the two main Mario Kart eight I never finished.

Final Fantasy X - Spent a couple hours grinding out the Sphere Grid to get Silence Attack and Bio and I'm past Seymour Flux.

On one hand, it took me four tries and the main strat is some lateral thinking shit (poison + silence him, protect/shell + 5x cheer + 5x focus for cross cleave and total annihilation protection), but on the other that's what makes this super good? Peak boss, I think

Also got the Saturn Crest (Jupiter Crest in JP)

Mega Man Star Force 2: Zerker might be the weakest of the three Star Force games but it's still a good game in its own right (and hey, I don't need a stylus for it until the very end of the main story, and even then I don't really need a stylus if I'm confident enough at the combat). Currently still in the "tutorialize everything" chapter of Wilshire Hills.

Chose to go with Mario Kart: Super Circuit. The ranking system's silly in this one, so I'm just focusing on getting 1st in the fifteen main cups. Two-thirds of the way there now, skipping the 100cc Special for a moment to test out the 150cc. I think I can pull this off.

Beat Mario Kart: Super Circuit this morning. Won't go back to unlock the retro tracks since that's got a silly requirement that I'd only do during an abridged playthrough of the game for the channel. For now, that takes care of an old game I never bothered to get through. Feels nice.

Romancing SaGa 2 - Levelling up magic more, actually doing pretty good progress. Cosmology is at least at Lv10, and Hydrology's at least Lv7.

Aerology may be Lv8, I forget? Need to see if Missile Shield's available or not.

My one complaint is that the program's volume resets to 100% every time, bsnes had this same issue (I replaced it with SNES9x yesterday because it's more updated, will have to redo a bit of my ASMT1 progress).

Heroes Lore: Wind of Soltia - Bought the best armor on shops and basically killed the difficulty a bit. Nord is dead in Ronin's story after some struggle, but I'm gonna level up a bunch before Geb around the North Central Mountains and the Temple of Earth itself.

All sidequests done (with Ronin at least).

Donkey Kong Land, because this silly quest to beat a game on every Nintendo system I've owned this year is chugging along for the moment before I have to get back into editing mode. This one's kind of impressive while also being rough considering the hardware it's on. I do not like that if you go too far up on the screen and miss a jump, the game counts that as falling into a pit. Outside of that, yeah, this is a stiffer playing DKC game on the Game Boy.
