I wonder if this E3 cancellation will put the event out of its misery for good. It seems like it's been getting worse and worse for a few years now, and people are caring less and less. Nintendo hasn't been there for a few years, Sony wasn't there last year, so what are we left with? Bethesda who nobody likes any more? Ubisoft who I'm not sure has a particularly dedicated fanbase? With the rise and ubiquity of streaming over the past several years, it seems like it's easier than ever for publishers to just be putting out announcements as they have them, just like Nintendo has been doing with their Directs. I have to assume with 2/3 of the big three pulling out (and the remaining hold-out being Microsoft who has never been afraid to dump money into things that may not even be worthwhile) that the numbers have been crunched and it's been figured out that the money being spent on having a big presence at E3 just isn't worth it any more.

(obvioulsy will watch them in a minimized tab while working on other stuff, that would be a bigger time sink than watching several long running shonen anime) Is it even possible? Some old videos I imagine are lost to time too.

From what I recall there are definitely some that have been lost over the years. A lot of his oldest videos you can find here though if you're not already aware. Also if you're going to shoot for all raocow videos, don't forget the Patreon ones. (Which assuming he still does those, will take quite awhile by themselves. When I was paying into his Patreon they were like 30-40 minutes.)

I watched every single video up to TSRPR's last one (pre-VIP1 replay), and as much as I like rao as a person, it's honestly time I wish I spent doing something else. Then again I was like 13 at the time.

I forget if I watched the Parodius and SamSho2 vids, I know the MUGEN thread (screenshot LP?) was on archives.

Yep. What else are you gonna do during quarantine? I mean, I'm mostly just programming, planning to draw some furry art later on so I can upload more stuff on my FA and Weasyl (haven't uploaded anything to the latter yet orz) besides just gift art I get and also to help myself relax more, drawing is very comforting. Also restarted Final Fantasy VII (PSX) and started a Digital Devil Story: Megami Tensei 2 file. I'm heading to the Sector 5 Reactor in FF7 and just out of Haneda in Megaten 2.

I'm also trying to figure out how making a SMW level editor works and it's very confusing~ ( @Д@)
I found the level loading routines and I am prepping myself to study them. I asked #asm on SMWC for advice on where to start. If that fails I'll go to Jul and RH.net. I think I'll try making a hex editor first. I am on Jul's discord now after all~ Felt bad about abandoning it so... Also I'm friends with Revenant/Devin and Xkeeper so I should hang out with them on there at least.

Also managed to understand SPC700's syntax pretty well just by reading it recently~
I have docs to help me if I have any doubts in the future too.

i left my window open and a mockingbird woke me up at 5am. i don't have to wake up until 7:30am. i do, in fact, want to kill a mockingbird.

Every once in a while I want to go back and play Super Mario Odyssey which I haven't played since balloon world came out (and even that was just a quick little bit to try it out).

But then I remember you need to use a bunch of stupid motion controls to do some moves and it completely turns me off the idea. I can't fathom why Nintendo would require that in a game that was made to demo how their new system can function equally as a console and a handheld. I basically only played Odyssey in docked mode, but I'm trying to imagine how much of a nightmare it must be to be shaking the entire system to roll around or climb things while trying to watch the screen you're shaking.
