I really appreciate how there's a lot of colour variation among enemies.

Like, there didn't need to be multiple colours for munchers and chucks, but hey, why not?

60fps is way more noticeable here than in Crash. I didn't notice Crash was 60fps yesterday until I saw someone in the comments point it out but I noticed it in SMW almost right away.

60fps super nintendo games are honestly the ONLY reason that I care about youtube's ability for 60fps playback. Modern games have a lot of trickery in them and usually don't reach a solid 60fps. 99% of 2d games run at 60fps and are designed around it.

We'll finally be able to see where mario goes when raocow takes a hit :catplanet:

All of you peeps talking about how the videos are now in 60fps have clearly not been watching at double speed. I've been watching raocow in 60fps for a while now

I think by now I've got an approximation of what the lp title gimmick is, but I'm not sure why it is.

"Quotations" like "Mario", probably ancient greek quotes because that's conveniently full of famous quotes and the game has "primitive" visuals and is now itself an old game?

Huh, I wonder if that boss was supposed to be Francis from Super Paper Mario (BTW raocow, you should LP that one. It's more of a platformer than an RPG)

Super Paper Mario has a lot of "vector art" styling. An area called The Bitlands has an 8-bit throwback aesthetic.
This dude is a native of The Bitlands, but also a character at the same time, so has design referencing the pixel-style but the outlines in vector-style.

On top of that, because it's SPM, he's also a 3D model:

When I played this a number of years ago, I wasn't able to find the secret exit in the red level for world 6. I'll be curious to see if raocow can find it.

The SMWC page doesn't have the 2 in quotes, only "Mario".
