Look. It's very simple. It's not an opinion. Was there a year zero? No. There cannot be a year zero because the calendar year is not a measurement of time. We may say that "one year has passed", but that is not what we are saying when we say the current year. People started counting years at 1. 10 years after year 1 would be year 11. 10 years after year 11 would be year 21. Now continue that trend into 2021. I CHOOSE to ignore this rule because I am depraved. I grasp the truth, but turn away. I like round numbers. That said, I am willfully, hedonistically, ignorant. There is a "right" answer to this question. Whether you choose to accept it is up to you, but there is an answer.
