Casinos can be neat, but don't get greedy!Kleetus wrote: ↑4 years ago The video perfectly captured my personal experience at a casino; not actually gambling, just wandering around looking at all the pretty flashing lights while helping myself to the free pop because everyone else is ignoring it in favour of ACTUALLY PAYING MONEY for booze. Honestly the elaborate artwork and effects on modern slot machines are more entertaining (and less anxiety inducing) then the actual gambling part.
Anyway I went because one of my friends wanted to see what a casino was like and invited a bunch of people along. After losing fifteen bucks to the slots, she declared that she will never enter a casino again, launch a personal war on all gambling in the country, and become a nun, so I don't think we're heading back anytime soon.
The moral of the story is you don't need to spend money to have fun.
Made something like $500+ playing a three-card poker variant I can't really remember the name of the last time I was in a casino. Woke up the next morning to try my luck (was at a friend's company Christmas party at said casino/hotel) and ended up losing about $45 of it. Lesson learned, haven't been to one since!
Also probably helps that I live in a state that the nearest casino is like 100 miles or so away though I don't really know because I'm not really interested in gambling. I'd rather make money other easier ways that involve being actually creative.
That boss is pretty similar to the Hydro City mid-boss, but without the crazy washing machine mechanic.
I totally don't remember if the Casino zone in Sonic Advance 1 has a slot game like that but it really should've. Was more like Carvinal Night or something. I should play through Advance 1 again since it's pretty decent from what I remember
