JUMP ½ - Half a jump is still a jump
Re: JUMP ½ - Half a jump is still a jump
me and validon made a level list. It's not to the level of professionalism and official-ness that the original JUMP level list is but it's pretty close
Link.
no list for RNG but i'm working on it! (judging by raocow's video description the sublevels don't have names this time around)

Yeah, no, like, this was my favorite SMW hack ever. Thanks so much for making.

Re: JUMP ½ - Half a jump is still a jump
I said I have more to say about this level in my last post, but most of what I have left is just little nitpicks, and if I try to go over every single room here this post will be far too long, so I'll just say what my biggest issue is, which is that the rooms referred to as "jellyfish satelites" and "normal video game" felt a bit disproportionately difficult compared to the other rooms. Though it's entirely possible that I'm just not that good at them and other people might not have as much trouble as I did.
Anyway, it looks like this is the end of this hack, so I guess I should give my thoughts on the hack as a whole. I agree that this was an amazing hack. Out of all the levels here, there was only one that I really disliked; in the rest of the levels I generally had a pretty great time. I might even play this again sometime. Or maybe I'll finally get around to playing the first JUMP. My future plans aside, I definitely thought that this was really fun.

goty
If both 2D Platformer danmaku bosses and costume swaps are going to become a thing in hacks going forward I would like to formally request an Erina sprite for the player character

So is there no reward for getting all the Dragon Coins?

I was kind of disappointed that there was no real fanfare after beating RNG. I expected one more "town" to be unlocked, where you could get either some game-breakingly powerful "hey, replay the levels with this crazy add-on" item, or at least a new costume or two for replays, if you got all the dragon coins. Oh well. Still one of the better hacks I've seen/played, so... good job, JUMP team!

Yeah lol there's not much point to getting dragon coins after a certain number. Which is kind of good for some players cause it means they don't have to worry about it but not as good for compulsive playthroughs like this
Well it is a decent hack but sometime its just too repetitif there no level that actually pop in your face and your like oh yeah that level they all ressemble themselves and just monster along the way.

Well, i'm a bit late to the whole two parter finale, but after watching Jump ½ THE MOVIE - Do You Remember Love? - I must say, wow, what an impressive level, and a great sendoff to Jump Half. The boss was just stunning to see, and the whole level kept on presenting some really interesting ideas.
Great job on the hack everyone who worked on it!

I was really impressed with this game. Everything in the JUMP series so far has made for a great LP, and I always look forward to those videos more than most Mario stuff.
It sounds like they put a lot of work into this one, and it really shows. Great job to all involved.

I finished watching the LP a few days ago. "you were holding an umbrella" has to be one of the most visually unique and striking SMW levels I've seen. RNG is an amazing concept for a level, I have some ideas on how it could be expanded it I ever participate in a colab like this.

I forgot if I've ever shared this
on tumblr I posted the actual file I sent the jumphalf team, plus an unused 'rng cleared' version and finally a superbad early draft of the map

Heh. The "RNG Cleared" version of that map is cute. Too bad it wasn't used.
