I'm glad you're liking this game, raocow. It brings me fond memories because my wife and I got the platinum trophy on it together on the PS3 back when we first started dating.
I'm surprised he was able to do it without inhaling. The game really expects you to be using that move a lot. raocow is making things a lot harder on himself by not using it (yes, you do get lums by inhaling bombs).

"raocow makes things harder on himself" is basically raocow's motto at this point. 90% of the issues he has in a given game are invariably issues he causes himself. Usually while failing to take any advice on how to avoid those issues.
You would've been fine without the medal anyways, is the worst part
The intended method is to keep your wallrun going up the wall on the left by jumping off the right in between the saws. It's not the easiest thing but it's not intended to be like, an absurd puzzle either
i've honestly never played a video game in my life
Like you've done before, you maintain your wall run when you jump from a wall.
What was the yell at the screen moment is when you approached the door with 349 Lums, and you forgot there is always enemies gaurding the last cage.
Since it looks like you read my spoiler, I'll answer your question. The next level is safe. You might even be able to do the Chest level right after.
But the 1st 'blank' medal is the start of the 3-stage finale.

Not every level. In fact, this very level is an example of one with no enemies guarding the cage (I'm not counting the guys who give you no lums, since you have to kill them via environment. Point is, the cage room isn't worth lums at all). I think raocow was pretty smart to not take that risk, even though it turned out there was a whole other room.
I thought I saw the robots give lums when you first punch them.
To comment on raocow's observation on 'lacl of precision', maybe it because you are always holding the run button?
That blue streak we saw during the time trail was an ascending Electoon. They do that when they fall off into water (or lava). They did this in Rayman 1 as well.

yeah, today's level is without question one of the harder ones in the game
i think rao is having trouble in a combination of going from world 6 difficulty straight to world 10 difficulty, and then switching his character and thus having a different sprite he's not used to
also of note, there are a total of 3 electoons left!
if the treasure level goes well (which, for you, i kind of think it will) i'd recommend doing the whole rest of the endgame sequence right after, though.

This game seems mostly pretty generous about design decisions, but it can be weirdly punitive about strange things, like not letting you go back through some doors or not respawning that medallion raocow didn't collect before entering the electoon room on his first run last night.
Restarting the level from the final room when you have to replay for lums might save some time versus reentering from the map, but it looks like it also costs you your heart if you have one, which potentially means 5 free lums. Given that some runs have ended less than 5 lums short, that might be worth considering.
Ah, good, they name dropped it now. That means I can talk about it now, instead of when the LP is over.
Land of the Livid Dead: Origins' only reference to Rayman 3, as there was an area in that game with the same name. However, I heard the only thing they have in common is the name.

People expected you to be able to finish the main game today? That was unrealistic.
As for the parts you were having trouble (the wallrun jumps), I think you were just jumping late, and not quick enough. It's been a while, but I think you were supposed to rapid fire the jump button, as soon as Rayman touches the wall.

Also, if you played it now you would never have a chance to play as Cyber Death Globox.
Well it is a decent hack but sometime its just too repetitif there no level that actually pop in your face and your like oh yeah that level they all ressemble themselves and just monster along the way.
