I'm not a fan of Fickle Fruit. Getting all the lums in it is quite tedious, I think. And I suck at dodging the citrus.

Having to destroy all of the ice blocks also kills the flow a lot. It's not terrible, but there's better levels in the game for sure!

yeah the last three chest levels are all big difficulty spikes tbh. you have to basically jump at the very edge of the cliff on all those last jumps & sliding on the ice when you get a chance helps too but it is absolutely really tight timing-wise. i would not dare call this the hardest chest level, either

it's uhh, not really surprisingly they completely redesigned the last section in legends, though

i've honestly never played a video game in my life

But you're the 19th, surely they would have figured out a way to make you able to bug one's eyes. By now it's the cat's pajamas, by jove!

Was there a way to go on top of that ice, or did you seriously have to slip between it like raocow did? That's just rude.

Sliding down ice gives you crazy speed and momentum.

Bit late mentioning that now, this being the last Ice level in the game.

With the way things are going, we may get back-to-back Chest Levels. That would be neat.

Also, raocow, I don't think you finished giving the reason why you agreed to doing Phase 2 in reverse order. I'm curious now too.

That second level reminded me of a level from Donkey Kong Country Returns and now I kinda want to see rao play that down the line

You were saying something at the start of the second level about how it was good that you were playing like this. Going to guess you meant because you were able to get the heart thing at the start of the level for five free Lums? Would've been a really close call without those.

I'll repeat myself, why did he agree to this? He started to give a reason, but then got distracted by the level.

You know, I wonder how much Horikawa threw up, during the boss level. I remember her voicing her displeasure with 'inside the body' levels.

Inhaling enemies and shooting them out absolutely wrecks those millipedes if they are somewhat horizontal.

Inhaling enemies is generally OP in these levels, since its a 1 hit kill for everything. I usually go whole levels without using the weak pea shooter. Unless I need to bank a shot.

Until now, I never thought as the water coming out of the stage as spit. Ewwww...... way to ruin the game for me, rao.

this moskito level is one of the hardest to get the lum medal in, for sure, this one and one more that you haven't played yet stand out as notably harder than the rest

not sure what your good news is since none of those are Returns, although if wii emulation isnt off the table I guess the trend is there at least

Also there should probably be more let on that level than there is. I'm really not a big fan of "do this level exactly like this or you won't make the grade" grades.

raocow, I don't think the chest levels are designed with the player making much use of the glide. You might have a better time not gliding all the time in them (though I don't know as I haven't played this game).

Yeah, from what i've seen so far, and from what i've played of

the Origins levels in Legends

, the player is expected to "do nothing" as you said, raocow.
I'm sure there are exceptions, just, I wouldn't really attack mid-air on any of these levels.

Parama wrote: 5 years ago Also I think this entire level is designed to be playable without gliding, which is also kind of a trap the game gets you into because it gave you glide only two levels ago :P
I tried to tell raocow the same thing way back at the second chest but the message didn't get through apparently

Though I should've specified "all chest levels" I guess because if it isn't apparent gliding is SLLLOOOOOOOW and will always screw you over in this scripted sequences

Oh, man, will raocow play as Cyber Death Rayman when he finally unlocks him? At this rate it'll be in what, 2-3 videos if he doesn't backtrack for that 180 Electoon chest?
