Man raocow, you’re not very good at this game,
two episodes later, you’re still at the starting point! :partygator:
Uh...Do I just sign here? What do you mean it should be obvious? There are people in this world...well...a whole lot of people that can't follow basic instructions!

this game is pretty fun for the most part but the last level caused me physical pain with how twitchy it expects you to be on two-button controls

also you can try going for completion if you want since you're never locked out of anything & it'd probably extend the series by a few episodes 'cause otherwise this is gonna be like. a week at most i'd think
i've honestly never played a video game in my life

There's a solution to the green block puzzle room that raocow missed.
Hint:

It is in the room above it.

raocow if you are having so much trouble using L and R on your controller.
just use a keyboard. it's not gonna get easier, imo the endgame is about on the level of the harder stuff in celeste in terms of the precision it demands of you & having to double-tap L and R buttons that precisely is going to be a real bad time
also yeah

not noticing the puzzle solution literally directly told to you is all on you :P

While I did see it, I'll admit the hint for the green switches can be easily missed, if you're not expecting to see level hints in the walls.

regarding the bonus/"terry's dream": it's not especially long compared to the full game but iirc you can't save during it, you have to do the entire thing in one go. at least i'm pretty sure you do. it's also harder than anything in the maingame.

that... could be a bit of a video.

A few likely important things to note about post-any% completion content (I am purposely not offering any opinion on whether raocow should attempt any of this content):

1. "Terry's Dream" is postgame difficulty. It is harder than anything else in the regular game and, in my experience, demands pixel-perfect precision for at least two obstacles. It does not allow you to save; the entire Dream must be completed all in one sitting. I beat it (once) before and just now replayed it again to get a sense of length. Including all time spent on deaths/replays (of which I had many), and already knowing what I needed to do to win, it took me about 45 minutes to complete. There is a just-under-7-minute speedrun on Youtube with minimal deaths.

2. You may be wondering if there is any more substantive game content locked behind getting all 20 DVDs. The short answer:

Nope.

The long answer:

The only content lock is Terry's Dream, unlocked at 5 DVDs. Getting 10 DVDs unlocks a note questioning if you can get all 20. Getting all 20 gets you an achievement (and speedrunning the game with all 20 gets you another achievement). That's it. No change to the ending or anything else in-game.

3. If you decide to hunt all 20 DVDs, I highly recommend you read the spoiler note below to avoid accidentally ruining your save.
The first time you reload your save after finishing the game, you will spawn on the right side of the exit. If you missed it on the way up (very possible), then there will be a DVD on the left side of the exit. You're supposed to access that DVD from below. Do NOT try to fly up and dash over the exit to get to that DVD; if you try, you will very likely get sucked into the exit and replay the ending - and your save will forever after be stuck at the ending cutscene. Reloading will not fix the problem. Closing and reopening the game will not fix the problem. The ONLY way to get back your progress if this happens is to replay the entire game again.

raocow made a good point about how the music affects the tone of the game.
This game started as a jokey game, where one of your first powerups is a tutu, and funny notes from your buddies are left for you.
A couple areas later, the game reminds you that you're in hell.

Geez, hearing raocow describe playing this game makes it sounds just painful.

I would totally understand if he decided to stop playing.

That ascent looked hard to do, even with normal controls.
I wonder what was in that area to the right. It looked huge.
And about that ending, is the more than one. Makes me question what the point of this game was, If it was all for nothing. What about your guy's partners? They managed to send him stuff, this can't be just it?
