Also quick announcement, we're making centered templates for all five characters so we no longer have to shove them up in the top-left corner and fiddle with offset files. They'll include the finalized animatx sheets, which are much easier to work with compared to the old ones (same 100x100 pixel frame size as the regular sheets so you can just copy the frame over from `charname-2.png`)
I was going to share samples but I think I'll just wait and post the packages when they're all ready.
And I haven't made any progress on the other Robin Kood sheets yet but I figure I might as well hold off on finishing those until the template costumes are done.

I've added a new set to my list, this one being much simpler. Basically, it's a "Player 2" set. It uses the same graphics, but it swaps the palettes around, in a manner similar to how some games handle a second player playing as the same character as the first.

EDIT- Just an update, the program I use to make BGs transparent is being weird. It worked on the example lineup image I posted, but it won't work on the sheets themselves, sorry.
EDIT-Had to change Ghost Iris's sheet to match the new sheet.

been a long while since I posted in here, but I'd like to mention that I haven't ditched just the last monthish was kinda busy and have more time now

alright, I think I have all the frames complete. The only one I'm missing is the climbing frame, which for Sheath is the cat planet angel girl right? I'm not seeing it on her sprite sheet though, so where does that go?
Since Sheath turns into cat planet angel girl, I'm thinking Boki could turn into cat planet cat, since cat, she is one and all.

The angel girl is either an NPC or an effect, I forget which.

ok I'll make it and leave it separated from the main set then. Should I go try and figure out the pge calibrator now or should I wait for the centered templates?

I'd wait for the centered templates, they'll make things a lot easier. I'm considering pre-releasing them to help people work on costumes more easily.

It would be a shame if I ever forget to post my sprite here and have it go to waste, so I'll post it here for people to use just in case I get busy in irl and never check back again. I do try to check periodically though.

Just a heads up, on the Cape and Witch sheets, when she's doing the slow fall flutter thing, it usually uses the 3rd frame from walking, the falling frame, and another frame that I believe it dedicated to the flutter animation, HOWEVER, for Cat Demo (and Iris), it WON'T use the 3rd walk frame. This means that her flutter is only 2 frames long, not 3.
EDIT- There was an issue on Witch Demo's sheet, heres a fix:

Here's what I tentatively dubbed 'Skull Demo' while working on this, aka Ashan's Demo thing from the header. It's such a great design I had to do it!

I've tested it and was working, if anything isn't, let me know.
edit: I put code in the costume.lua file that seemed to be appropriate for containing such code, swapping out a couple frames for others in some animations. I don't think it should be breaking anything.

Mario/Nintendo cosplays for all characters except Kood.
Touhou (Demo and Iris only)
A La Mulana themed skin for raocow
Also, can we have Mario or Boon from VIP make a cameo in A2XT?
Also ALso, Could we have a JUMP styled SMBX collaborative episode when SMBX2 Beta 4 fully releases

Check out SLAM on the SMBX forums for that last one. For the others,
the cosplay costumes (including Princess Kood) and Boon cameo are already in and Demo's Tanooki design has been a Marisa costume since ASMBXT iirc.
Maybe we could have Reimu or another one of the recurring hatgirls as Iris' tanooki come Ep. 3, though there's also another design proposal already lined up for that. Of course, if anyone wants to make a full Touhou costume for this episode that'd be rad too.
