My condolences. I hope you'll look back upon these nine years with fondness, and carry on your own legacy for both of you.

Re: Twitter Thread
She passed away peacefully.
I've been sick for over a week now, and every night, my cough is so bad that I'm always up until 3:00 AM or longer. Well, last night I was lying in bed at 4:00 AM when my Dad got me out of bed. I go into the living room and my dog is having a seizure. She was panting extremely hard, shaking a lot, and she even urinated on my Dad twice. We rushed her to the emergency animal care hospital, and they got her calmed down. They stopped the shaking, panting, etc. We thought she might've gotten out okay, but after the blood work results came in, it was not good. A lot of her body functions (or whatever you'd call it), like calcium, phosphate, and all that was way off what it should've been. The doctor said we could have taken her to the vet for three days and see what they could do, but she said it probably wouldn't do any good and she probably would've passed at the vet, being not peacefully and me and my family not being with her. We had to make the extremely tough and heartbreaking choice of putting her down. She died peacefully, and that makes me happy.
Emma was a dog that would always cheer me up when I was down. She was always full of life, from newborn all the way to the end of her life. Even when she was struggling with kidney failure this past week, she still tried to be full of energy. She couldn't hardly walk nor bark but she still tried to be full of life. It saddens me so much that today had to be the day she passed, but I'm glad I could be there with her when she passed peacefully.
You'll always be in my heart, Emma.

Our previous dog Grendel passed a couple years back; It's always hard to lose a cherished pet.Zeldamaster12 wrote:Rest in Peace Emmagrace: January 8, 2007 - March 22, 2016
I will always love you.
If I might suggest: if you haven't already, look into getting a puppy. I realize it's a bit of a "replacement goldfish" suggestion but having a new pet to care for should help heal the loss (We knew Grendel's passing was coming and we got our new dog Gideon about half a year before Grendel finally went the way of all the Earth).

Thanks for the kind words, guys.
I'll probably get another dog later on, but man, nothing will replace Emma. It's just so hard to come home and not have your miniature schnauzer running to you wanting loved on. The house isn't gonna feel the same without her.

Re: Twitter Thread
Man, you had her for a long time. I can relate to that, having lost a dog last May that we had since October of 2003. He also suffered from seizures shortly before his passing. I'm very sorry for your loss. I also understand that sometimes things like this happen when you least expect it and that life/responsibilities must go on even though you're in mourning. I was very busy when my dog passed away and it was very frustrating when I felt like I didn't even have the time to grieve, so I hope you're not in a similar situation.Zeldamaster12 wrote:Rest in Peace Emmagrace: January 8, 2007 - March 22, 2016

Never let anyone tell you that a pet isn't worth getting emotional over. Cherish your memories with your dog so that you can celebrate them later.
I love it.peteyboo wrote:Platinum vs. raocow vs. myself triple battle at the same time

I AM VERY DISGUSTED WITH THE TRASHY MAN. IN SPITE OF THE MONSTER, AND THE COACH, ONLY TRASHY, I WILL BEAT DOWN THEM ALL. FOR THIS I MUST STRENGTHEN MYSELF. THE MONSTER IS THE SAME TOO. COLLECT ALL THE TRASHY, RIGHTEOUS FELLOW ARE ALL UNPARDONABLE! YOU DON'T AFFECT ME. THE TRASHY STROLLING IS AN EYESORE!

Any PSX hackers / MIPS R3000A ASM gurus around? I'm trying to rewrite a crit predictor script for FF7 for BizHawk's Lua implementation, but this is my first major attempt at parsing ASM so I'm very much confused (I don't think I adapted the original script properly, hence why I'm going back to the disasm)
Here's the underlying ASM.

I know I'm a little late on this, but man, my condolences Zeldamaster I really don't know what to say in response except for that and I'm sorry for your loss, but I hope that will be enough to give some sort of comfort. May Emmagrace rest in peace.

also replace "sewing" with "everything" and you have an accurate description of my life
