A peek from the past into America's future, all thanks to Toad Man.

It's funny that I almost thought you were serious with "Toad Man's fortress" and kept thinking "Wait, what, didn't they just beat Toad Man recently?"

Well hello there Yoku Block! I didn't know you were coming over for Christmas!
Oh! And I see you brought your friend, Wind!

Re: PARADISE
Ugh. This is where I had to stop in my playthrough. It was seemingly all fine and dandy to cheat me up some infinite health, but the magnet vacuum things might as well have had "NOPE" written on them. Once this series is finished I'm really curious to see how you did it.Heavy Sigh wrote:Well hello there Yoku Block! I didn't know you were coming over for Christmas!

Also, honest question: me finding artwork (I CROPPED A CRASHMAN COLLAGE JUST FOR YOU) wasn't actually gonna make you post these any more expedientally, were they? Just asking.

Most of your artwork actually looked cool. Nothing about this game is cool.TiKi wrote: Ugh. This is where I had to stop in my playthrough. You know, I think this might be the first genuinely new concept I've seen from this game.

Re: PARADISE
The stupidity of the way the boss weaknesses work in this game is going out of its way to highlight itself now, just in case we didn't catch on by the third episode.

Re: PARADISE
(As an aside, I'm waiting until the final episode is posted to marathon this. So it's not like this is a reaponse to something specific.)
I feel kind of bad that MMP was so bad. It almost seems like it should have been a good game.
-An honestly good engine for what, 2005?
-25 levels
-Many weapons, with changed original behavior
-Multiple bots being weak to a weapon when it is usually logically called for
-Mega Man being in more domestic situations instead of an orange sewer and a green water filtration plant
Like, I almost get what it was trying to be. Mixahman just also really flew the coop on balance and fun (How do you just skip a RM giving a weapon?). I almost want to see a "MMP: Good Edition", but it's not quite worth it when there are other avenues that could be explored in general by fangames.

Re: PARADISE
That's at least part of the problem, in my opinion.TiKi wrote:-25 levels.
Megaman has never really been known for having more than 16, and 12-13 is usually where they seem to end up, and there's a good reason why.

Re: PARADISE
They have to be entertaining and well thought out, though. I mean, I've thought about a Mega Man game that goes with themed worlds like Mario and Donkey Kong Country do as recently as when I saw and played Mega Man Unlimited. That game has two or three stages' worth of ideas in a single level, but it's too much packed in. In this case, the level design's not generally fun even if the ideas are sort of there. It's hard to make an entertaining Mega Man game sometimes.

Re: PARADISE
You could post the final episode now... or show your approval of the final boss' waiting game by postponing it! Throw me a bone with this joke, I mean it is surely more surprising than the ending!
