Anyway, I just got home from a new year "party" (actually, it was more of a sitting-around-with-a-few-great-people-thing) and I just want to wish you all the best possible year 2016.
I love you all.
You're awesome.

In other news, I totally managed to sneak "What Kind of Pokémon Are You?" (which, by the way, is totally on Spotify) into the music queue at the New Year's party I attended. The results were spectacular.

It's going to be a good three or four weeks before I start remembering to write '2016' on the date.

Re: Twitter Thread
i think the people finding hidden audio files that had secret codes in the spectrographs in them beforehand really helped. i mean, you can't deny the objective facts by saying that people wanted something for a long time. valve doesn't directly hint at this often if ever.bkamakaze wrote:Leet wrote:so somebody found a super tiny pixel half-life logo and crowbar in the corner of a secret version of a sale-related background on steam

valve's doing... something. i don't know what. but what we do know is that there are various definitely deliberate hints.

I SPENT MY FIRST HOURS OF 2016 DRAWING PHOENIX WRIGHT AND MILES EDGEWORTH KISSING AND LET ME TELL YOU I AM DEEPLY FULFILLED BY MY CHOICE TO DO THIS ACTIVITY DURING SUCH AN INFLUENTIAL PART OF THE YEAR. I FEEL THIS IS A PREMONITION OF GOOD THINGS TO COME AND I ANTICIPATE THIS NEW YEAR FONDLY AND WITH HIGH, GAY HOPES
Re: Twitter Thread
I know it's not a big deal in the grand scheme of things, but I finally lost my copyright strikes on YT and have access to all those features I was missing. Custom thumbnails are way more neato than I remembered, but just being able to upload videos longer than 15:30 again is awesome. That ruined my mood last year when it came to doing this silly hobby of mine.
...I should totally delete the rest of my music uploads that aren't Gunvolt, shouldn't I?

Re: Twitter Thread
I don't thiiink you're being totally serious, but just in case you are, Valve has actually made a point of NOT intentionally hinting at a new half-life, ever. This would be completely out of character for them, as any informed Valve Experts (tm) would know.Whimsical Calamari wrote:they're sneaking "clues" into everything they can so sleuths with a lot of hope and free time will make sure nobody forgets about half-life, doing valve's marketing for themLeet wrote:valve's doing... something.

well, compared to the expectations anyway.dr_kraid wrote:Half-Life 3 is never coming out and if it does it'll be shit
same reason that there's not going to be a sonic adventure 3. it would never be able to live up to 500 communities' distinct expectations of What The Third Installment Should Be
