He wants to make sure the base sprite's good before making full sheets of it.
We didn't have any objections in the skype group but suggested it be posted here just to be sure.

Also, I think, you are know that with LunaLUA now is possible to modify GFX-offsets of playable characters, so, new graphics are can be drawn fine (and no need to fit into original SMBX's frame offsets)

yeah uhm that would fit in way better with the rest of the player sprites and I'd vote to have those be the main graphics, with the old graphics possibly beign unlockable

I can't sprite at ALL sooo...

Would anyone be willing to sprite a gray recolor of the SMB2 warehouse background, with stands with Goopas cheering in the background? Sorry if it's too much trouble!!

Can you make them GIF/Masks? Won't work as default graphics with PNGs.

Also, if you could make a jumping raocow for people to use in levels and whatnot.

Just use PNG2GIFs tool from PGE Package (it has drag&drop GUI if you will run it without arguments)
EDIT: Black background :P, so, I will fix that myself
EDIT2: fixed (archive contains both GIFs and Alpha-channel PNG versions)

I made some extra stuff to go with raocow. I'm still not familiar with setting up sheets for SMBX, so hopefully this is a little closer.

I think, you did something is not right:
1) transparent images save into PNG format
2) when you wish make SMBX-compatible sprites, fill background on foreground sprite with black, and mask with white (but shape of character must be black!) (or just use PNG2GIFs tool from PGE to do that quickly)

I'll probably go a bit less NEON on the pink in the actual sprite, but not by much. Probably other small changes here or there. I like a lot about the Sheath sheet, but her clothing is hard to read in some frames.

Got the raocow sprites fixed up, hitboxes calibrated, and usable:
updated onedrive folder from SAJ's shared onedrive thing

It looks rather nice in action I think. Can test in a level if you have a recent lunadll, but tossing all the files there (including lunadll.lua) into a test level.

That new raocow sprite is so neat. I kind of miss the fact that raocow no longer sits on the scenery, but the new ducking animation is great.

I just noticed that there seems to be a transparency issue on the Tanooki's flying animation. The handlebars that he holds on to still have black between them and his head. Other than that, it looks good, I'm really happy with how it came out.

Ahhh, missed that.

There are two other known issues to fix also:
1) When in a "holding item above head" state, and walking left raocow opens/closes their mouth, but walking right it's just closed
2) There's an issue where the offsets are not properly working for the case of the lifting animation (Guess: Maybe SMBX is considering them ducking frames when the player calibrator wasn't set to, so would need to adjust that in the calibrator)

Who wants to play a rousing gamed of "Chaoxys can't set up sheets"?

I actually did a bit extra on this sheet, so I'm fairly happy with it. It was originally going to be a simple edit job, but I went ahead and made a number of new frames and animations because I have too much free time.
