It is my personal belief that every self-respecting True Videogamer™©® should 100% Donkey Kong 64 exactly once in their life.
Last time I picked the game up I kinda dropped it because I got tired of dealing with my crappy old first-party N64 analog stick.
This time, though, I've gotten myself one of those Hori mini pads.

It's time, maybe.

Oh I've also been playing Peace Walker and CTR and Pac-Man World 2 and Croc: Legend of the Gobbos (of all things).

Hah... I even own Donkey Kong 64 myself. I'll get back to that, and find my way into the world in the storm (which is probably mech world, if I recall correctly...)

In other news, I finished Zelda II. ...With the help of a few restore points to save time when it comes to boss fights. (so I don't have to travel back to some of them when I die...)
Naturally, I didn't realize the shield spell halved damage done until the very last attempt of Dark Link.

Good luck... I did that a few months ago, and some of the Golden Banana minigames are just... Ugh.

I finished Deponia last night, with all achievements except

Droggeljug, because it's broken.

I picked up Club Penguin: Elite Penguin Force and The Legend of Dark Witch yesterday as well, so I'm working my way through those.

Yeah because you can spend a lot of time on a level and have nobody play it, then go on 100-Mario Challenge and see that most other people's levels are dogshit.

Playing a good Mario Maker level is more fun than playing a good Nintendo level because you know how much of a rarity it is. I think WiiRool is my favourite creator because god damn does he make some good content. Most people only care about gimmicks - my most-starred level is actually pretty lame but since it gives you the Ashley costume everyone goes apeshit over it - but WiiRool does some rock-solid gameplay and I can appreciate that.

I just wish more people would play, star and comment on my own levels. Is that too much to ask? Since I'm one person out of millions it might actually be.

Yeah it does kind of suck.

The whole level is a joke based around the lyrics to her song but I'd be surprised if anyone at all actually got that.

I wasn't really interested in Super Mario Maker until I heard that it a Game Center CX Kacho costume was coming. Kinda funny how that made me get the game immediately lol.

This is kind of why I ended up being turned off from the game. Good levels are totally overlooked in favor of either a) levels that require pixel perfect precision, or b) ironically bad levels. You never see genuinely well-designed levels being played by people on YouTube, or .. anyone else, really. They just sit and rot.

Don't get me wrong, some of those super challenging levels are actually cool (e.g. PangaeaPanga's), but the vast majority are, as you put rather nicely, dogshit.

e: for the sake of staying on topic, I'm playing BoI again (the original, even though I should really move on to Rebirth).
