A Calm Cave in Vast Space (2 stars)

Almost certainly not the final version, since it will of course be edited based on feedback!

Thwomp Castle - updated | 2 stars
Changes that I remember:
-Removed the message spam for the endboss, there's just one message partway through the fight.
-Restructured the main portions of the castle to be more winding so there's more exploration of the area.
- Replaced random powerups with fixed mushrooms, fireflowers, an occasional leaf, and a lone Tanooki suit .
-Powerups located more frequently throughout the castle.
-Added a room with massive enemy spam and Thwomp shield - the Thwomp there points out that he can be used as a shield.
-Entry has a few plants to dig up.
-First main castle room starts the player on a Thwomp with plants on its head to indicate it should be lifted.
-Structured castle so that it should be possible to get through most of it even if all the Thwomps die.
-Removed the boo and slime spawn for the second star fight, reduced number of Thwomps present for first part of fight.
-Possibly some other things.

Should I put more of a delay on the enemy spawning for the second star and/or reinstate the random powerups there? I made the spawn times all different prime numbers so you don't get too many things spawning at once.

Mission: Witty Lake

One star, pretty sure this is pretty solidly in the early game. It's in the feedback-stage, though overall very complete.

Minor update to make the end a bit more interesting. Note the arbitrary version number in the file name. Ayup.

(might as well plop this here too)
This is not a complete submission but I have a level that needs testing but I'm putting a special challenge to it.
I want to see how easy it is for all of you to get to Bowser on the VERY FIRST try (through the castle) I've trimmed back my level to prevent spoiling my main gimmick but the castle is the first section and I need it to be easy enough to get through on the first try as well as being interesting to play through. Thanks in advanced~

And Wario Said Unto Them 'Warm the Education.' and It Was So. (1 star)

I think it's safe to say you've never seen anything like this before. For good reason.

If someone could make me a [ispoiler]gas can[/ispoiler] graphic that didn't look like a load of old shitballs that would be much appreciated

Just a quick note, I've added another section to the name-claiming spreadsheet that just has the completed levels on it. I'll try to keep that updated with links to the latest version, hopefully it will be easier with all of them in one place. I've also included an additional column for noting reused names and which contest they're from.

I'm taking the level list out of the first post and linking to the spreadsheet instead, so that I have to keep fewer things updated.

Note the Spikes, but Don't Forget to Bang Customarily

This was... a more complex affair... o.o

Anyway, behold, my tribute to Clash at Demonhead!

Stars: 2
Completion: Unless more glitches or fixes pop up, it's done.

EDIT
I made some errors I've spotted myself so I fixed them up real fast like.

So here's take 2.

EDIT PART 2

Energetic Spikes in the Scarlet Devil Lake (part one of two)

1 star. Feedback is especially appreciated for this one, since this one is meant to be in world 4.

Once I finish the second part, I'll be updating my earlier two levels and then I'll be moving on to my two magnum opuses.

A Calm Cave in Vast Space (2.0)

- Fixed some dodgy jumps
- Fixed some vines that were the wrong sort
- Fixed the Dragon Coin in the tiny cave (

collecting it didn't trigger the event to cause the 'same' coin in the secret room to disappear

)
- Added a 'secret' to the Goomba ledge (not much of one though)

Note the Spikes v.2
Changes:
-Midpoint Reshuffle: Now comes between the Water area and the descent section with the rotapigs.
-Easier: some enemies moved/removed for ease of movement.
-Textboxes: some things changed to reflect the new midpoint position.
-Water: Non-swimmable water now uniform, swimmable water using different sprites.

So you guys remember when I eagerly put my name down for MaGL X: The Lost Levels, showed off a screenshot of what I was working and then went silent for months while the project stalled?

No? Well anyway I've worked hard the past two weeks or so and thus I present my level Keep in it's Beta testing form. Ta da
It includes a simple hub as well so it's easy to test in game if you'd prefer to the in editor tester

Feedback is greatly appreciated
Is it too easy or too hard? Is it too short or too long? Is the midpoint too lopsided? Is there some problem I missed? Ways to improve the graphics or song choice
Also looking for advice on what to put as the music for the boss

arabsalmon - Offbeat Manner (test)

Note to testers:
I've found that most graphical/audio problems encountered are a result of the glory that is the SMBX editor. For example, the beginning of the level should have a pitch black background (i.e. none) and be completely silent, so if a background loads in just Esc and F5 the level. The music will start afterwards, but if you load at the midpoint and there's no music, F5 that shit again. It should work for all characters, but you might want someone quite mobile, like the brothers.

EDIT: The level uses Lua, and was developed using the July 25th version of the devkit, so prepare accordingly.

Have some boom boom

WIP, but at least the part before midpoint is basically done.

Let's call it... err... closed alpha version.(Not even in beta stage)

I want to hear some ideas about the part before midpoint.(The part after midpoint is under construction, so if you cannot finish the level, it is normal.

(If no accident, this will be the first level completed, instead of the mission: sinking star... <_< )
