It's easy to forget about slippery physics when you're just watching, but the level is a pain to play. The package forcing you to run makes it much worst.

No it's a parrot coin. The parrot coins are some sorts of special blocks inserted into the game that normally doesn't exist in lunar magic. As such they appears like garbled thing made of different tiles in lunar magic but act like they should in game.

That second P-switch run is too long for it to be feesibly possible. And then you have a Magi koopa to make things slower.

That room with the parrot coin isn't the most recent version of that room. That's the magic of collabs.

The run was only slightly too long on that one part before the midpoint. The level is fairly short and it is technically possible to find some of those hidden platforms with the help of the enemies or quess their placement. raocow kinda missed the secret exit, even though there were not too many places for it to be in. Some of those blocks kinda made it harder to get to. The normal path was pretty okay and different.

That big NO! looks like a reference to this in Super Marisa World?

Getting that Parrot Coin in the falling area should be possible if you don't hold any button (makes you fall slower) and aiming for the springboard. If that doesn't work, someone changed it after it was inserted.

EDIT: Also looking forward to you playing my last level cowrao

I get the feeling that on how you'll beat "Skyway to Wonderland" depends on the RNG not spawning the generators in the wrong place during the platform riding, but that could be all alleviated through good reaction time. Also, a good ending run for raocow there.

I just wonder how the other version would have played out.

the thing that was removed was
a certain sledge bro variation that throws spiky balls. said spiky balls bounce several times quite high and create earthquakes with every bounce.

in a tight hallway with other bros around.
Well it is a decent hack but sometime its just too repetitif there no level that actually pop in your face and your like oh yeah that level they all ressemble themselves and just monster along the way.

Good thing raocow played the other version.
I guess a midpoint did not work with the gimmick of this level.

That last attempt was pretty epic!

I kinda wish the fish generator would have a predictable pattern, like alternating left and right.

Also there's no N in Pleiades

"Everywhere" is an adverb.

Also, I liked this level (thanks, Sept!), but it could have done without a lot of the snake bros and blind drops.

"It felt like a continuation"

That's because they originally were one level now split into two.

I thought they only had the same tileset. Gimmicks were different in each level and both of them felt like complete levels thanks to the lenght and dragoncoin placement.

It would hardly be the first time in the history of custom level making that a too long level felt like two completely disconnected parts. Although, if this was split into two levels, why weren't more? I suppose there is the level limit in the ROM to consider.

This level looked pretty OK all the way through. It's at least a 5/10 I think. That's on an actual scale, not a video game journalism one. What's 5/10 on that scale anyway? Probably about a 7.5/10 or so, maybe an 8/10. Depends on how much money Sept would be prepared to give me.

The reason is that earlier levels had different management and that there were open slots when I did it. I've wondered this myself during the LP when I started realizing how long some of this levels are. Although the reviewers of my time where much more strict, they hardly knew how to make a good game.

The original version of this level actually had a bit of "Something to do with Layer 2" in it.

I'm not sure how to feel about this. You've never had as low standard as the A2MT crew did. Would you say this game averages 2/10 or something?

Well, it's hard to tell without playing it and just from looking at it, but here's my personal scale for reference:
0/10: Absolutely Disgusting
1/10: Terrible
2/10: Very Bad
3/10: Bad
4/10: Below Average
5/10: Average
6/10: Good
7/10: Very Good
8/10: Very Very Good
9/10: Excellent
10/10: Masterpiece

This level might be the only situation where the jumping fish generator is kinda cool.
