I know raocow's going to call me insane again, but throwing tiny blue projectiles doesn't seem like a good idea in context with the backgrounds, plus Demo is a vertical rectangle and hammers are (I think) squares, so the hitboxes won't align properly. Would mini Demo heads that have been made to be a brighter blue work?

EDIT: Damn ninja edits. Those are actually square and a fairly bright blue. They look fine to me, although I'd like to see a screenshot in context with a background for reference. The same goes for all new sprites really and would lead to more informed decisions than seeing them in isolation.

I tested them, they look fine. Just... Don't have them be standard. It seems like there are better choices

Again, maybe as a weird bonus level or something, where EVERYTHING is Demo. Maybe turn the player into a Furba

Just thought of this, but

we should change raocow with Hammers from Detective raocow to angrycow throwing a controller.



EDIT: Also, I kinda think raocow's sprites should be redone in 2x instead of 1x, but that's just me.

Hammer Suits are Gourds. Iris' transformation with this is by far the weirdest of any power-up in the game, becoming a barrel that throws out fish.

On it. He doesn't already have a design/colour scheme, right?

Also, what is his controller? I seem to recall a SNES one?

He's the player. He breaks the fourth wall. I guess it fits in some fashion.

it is a good idea to have the angry cow as a character. The old timy raocow is way more friendly person.

I don't know. I guess the hammer/boomerang's high power makes it a good fit for an angry character.

Storyline spoilers (no raocows allowed):
What do people think of replacing the generic Mouser Replacement at the end of the Tower of Dr. Zalost with, say, Uncle Pumpernickle? As a teaser/preview for the Uncles becoming prominent in Episode 2? He doesn't even need to be explained. Uncle Pumpernickle just is.

Also, I'm concerned about using angrycow/controller, for storyline purposes. I'd rather we keep that in our back pocket for the third or fourth episodes.

The level name references a Courage the Cowardly Dog episode which featured a giant rat as a mad scientist's assistant. Then again, I don't see any other connection theme-wise and some kind of foreshadowing would certainly be interesting. Also I remembered now that the rat has been replaced regardless. (If anything I guess the level author should be contacted.)

If anything Pumpernickle is kind of too wide unless the NPC data is changed (which shouldn't break anything, I guess). Denmark might fit the canvas more (Rewind is similar to Pumpernickle, Broadsword feels way too important and @sbestos is too thin.)

Since the red=anger shirt was already taken by PPR/Fire I chose a similar but clearly different colour, but I still wanted to have some red in there.

Any suggestions?
(By the way I wouldn't want anyone to feel forced to use this so I wouldn't feel bad if it went unused due to plot/other reasons.)
